Wanna ask sumthing . I have a CM690 II Plus casing and just wanna ask can i

put 2 fans in front instead of one ? And is it normal for 692 plus casing not to

have the hdd connector on top of the casing and only have the hdd dock ?and

also for cm692 plus is it normal to not have the thing that can close the hdd

dock ? sorry for bad english
*
u can try to mod watever u want to. u can put a fan at 5.25 bay.
for hdd connector, u can try remove the top panel and see whether can unscrew those connector or not.
why want to cover tht hdd bay? u can put handphone or external hdd on it when u want to transfer files. smile.gif

Those were Arctic Cooling fans. Its one of the best fans in the market. Performs well, much better than CM fans in some cases.
For such a nice case like 690 II, better to install high performance fans instead of stocks.
You'll love the results. smile.gif
*
I love its fluid dynamic bearing. rclxms.gif
but I never use b4, mind to let me know the result?

all of my 120mm fans start making noise for 60c above.
cm sickle flow, enermax magma and silverstone FN121.
not yet try my ADDA fan because it already noisy enough no matter what temperature it is. icon_question.gif

how come your fan start making noise on specific temp? is that ambient  or cooler?

I bought an Arctic Cooling HSF Alpine 7 CPU cooler, 6 years ago.
Supposed to replace my Pentium 4 HT's stock cooler, very noisy.
Guess what, it still runs today. They said it may last up to 3 years.
The fan hasn't worn off yet but it started to get old.
I was amazed on how the HSF works and lasts. Now, I retired it and put it in its box.
*
hopefully new AC still as good as last time.
i already replaced 2times of my exhaust fan and 4times pulling fan on cpu heatsink.
it just start to vibrate/make noise to work under 70-80c within a week.

hey guys i'm new to this so i'll make it brief =)
was thinking about getting a CM Scout can my 5770 fit inside it?? and could i use 80mm fans instead of the 120mm ones?

btw...in comparison, how does the Thermal V5 or the NZXT Classic Gamma fair against Scout?
*
5770 can fit in scout, still got around 2inches left and u can only use 80mm at the rear exhaust if not mistaken.

I'm not sure for thermal v5 and nzxt classic gamma, you can google for the review by yourself and see which 1 u preferred.

haha 80mm cheaper lol....
but is it heavy to lug around?? casing alone is wad? 8.7kg?? i think...
owh yea and how many fans does it come with??
i read reviews on it and it should come with 3 right???
front rear n top
*
casing alone 8.7kg. it comes with front red LED 140mm, top black 140mm and rear red LED 120mm.

5770 wont be hot in your casing, it is not necessary to upgrade your fans.
it is better if the type of your 5770 blowing the hot air to the rear, the cooling is more effective in this kind of casing.

you can get cooler master 2000rpm fan for only RM25-32 each.

but the handle truly help me to move around the case. imo, better get fan like cm r4 series, they are good, but fan that comes with the case is already done a good job, u can feel it blow very well, no need extra fan (but i will change all the fan, will let u know if it improve anything tongue.gif )
*
cm r4 push a lot more air flow than the stock. u can hear the whirling sound. biggrin.gif
improve 2 - 4c for the processor, 1-3c for gpu.

aiseh Cent. very active on this forum ah lately xD

i think my existence in this forum is slowly fading away xD!! dun see as many "old bird" of the CM thread forumers here anymore sad.gif

btw cent v6gt is a better cooler than v8. better heatpipe design and the right choice of fan method. dun forget i own the v8 b4. some of the heatpipe is really redundant (especially the outter tower) and the sickle flow fan is not focus flow which makes it even worst xD.

and one of the cooler picture posted on the 6th page or 5th page was suppose to be the v12. it was never realized =(

i am very tempted with the V6GT tho xD. review shows very very good result xD!!

no updates on my system so lazy share old pics xD
*
hahahahhahaha!! biggrin.gif
sitting at home nothing to do mar..for those question I know then answer lor.
I'm wondering whether sickle flow + heatsink same as focus flow fan or not.
the heatsink act like the fixed blades on my ADDA.

*
