I would say, Bee Hock is very experience in race and drag tuning, and my friend is very experience in street race tuning. U know Ah Pek fr Bee Hock shop right? He sit in my friend's Putra before.

That Putra can go 200kph easily along Jelutong Highway, and race with Superbike like R6 on Penang street (at night when no car la). The art of his tuning is... he is still using standard 1.8L engine with original camshaft, see how good his porting and exhaust system is flex.gif

I remember that time raining, Ahpek, me and another friend sits in his car (4 person). 1 Satria GTI modified challenge him (with 2 person inside), my friend still win, LOL.

Street racing focus a lot of mid-low to mid-high rpm, top rpm is less important. Its not like drag or race tuning, where the racer can always use high and redline rpm. Why??? bcoz on street we always gotta brake and accel due to traffic or corners. Tat's why u see my bike top speed ok ok only, but pickup is really good (and I m going to make it better soon flex.gif )

RM300+ is possible if it is a 2nd hand FZ block, bcoz the cost price of the block itself is more than RM350. Workmapship will be RM150. I dont use TPS, it is a bad feature if you don't have a fully programmable racing CDI.

just full throttle on every gear to max rpm except 4th gear. 120kph on LC meter is good enough, and remember to full throttle to max rpm and then suddenly let go the throttle, using engine to brake.

ok, this looks out of topic, but it applies to 135LC exhaust pipe.

Every part of the exhaust pipe counts for performance. the welding itself is very important too. If you want performance with stock sound level, change the extractor, because it has a stupid catalyse there, PLUS very idiotic 3-in-1 connector.

Its the car extractor / manifold. If you change this thing, you may feel like your LC has changed to bigger manifold.

conclusion is, custom pipe with fine tuning is the best. Bee Hock custom pipe is more for good top speed, but low end lacks a bit. If you change to bigger manifold, perhaps u can get better mid range (good for cruising).

Perhaps end of this month I have new royal purple stock. I'd suggest you to use semi-synthetic for another 1000km before going straight to full synthetic. You can keep the Royal Purple until your odometer hits 2000km.

Calvin's one should be 40-14. Bee Hock custom pipe is meant for more top speed and sacrifice low-end torque, so in terms of pickup, bizzy will have better advantage, as bigger manifold + small back pipe increase acceleration.

Finally my cylinder head is sent to rework, 1 more week to go... i think it should be fine to have TT on 17th. ^^

I think stock compare, FX125 has bigger HP than LC135, 13.3 vs 11.33.
It comes with 26mm carb, and tuned to max HP at 10.5k RPM... remember what charge said about his experience with Belang? I think this is exactly what FX125 is about.

26mm carb helps a lot. If FX125 is using 22mm carb, it can't have this much BHP.

Before changing to 58.5mm and 60.0mm set, here's my setup:
1) 28mm Keihin Carb
2) NOB1 SSS (the top end so-so only)
3) BRT CDI adjustable
4) Power booster
5) Head porting.
6) Head skimming 0.5mm (for higher compression)
7) TK Valve and Racing Bee valve spring

and I already can win FZ150i from 0 to 120kph.
compare the FZ150 and FX125 horsepower then you'll know.

by the way, I m not really keen on peak horsepower figure. My bike peak horsepower is pretty low, but the powerband across each rpm is very balanced.

what is that poison???

imagine a 65mm engine which can suddenly go full throttle, and rev up straight to 13.8k rpm at free gear. the best thing is, the water jacket is redesigned, so water coolant won't masuk combustion chamber like my 60mm block.

so how many CC when using 65mm???
