QUOTE(8zelk8 @ Jun 29 2010, 10:13 PM) QUOTE(Aaron135LC @ Jun 29 2010, 10:14 PM) I would say, Bee Hock is very experience in race and drag tuning, and my friend is very experience in street race tuning. U know Ah Pek fr Bee Hock shop right? He sit in my friend's Putra before. That Putra can go 200kph easily along Jelutong Highway, and race with Superbike like R6 on Penang street (at night when no car la). The art of his tuning is... he is still using standard 1.8L engine with original camshaft, see how good his porting and exhaust system is This post has been edited by charge-n-go: Jun 29 2010, 10:29 PM |

QUOTE(8zelk8 @ Jun 29 2010, 10:30 PM) straight sure R6 accel faster la, superbike mah, but cornering that time makan R6 like shit.QUOTE(Aaron135LC @ Jun 29 2010, 10:33 PM) now i know... hah.. street racing and track racing is totally 2 different thing... thats why u are lucky to have 2 frens who knows in both things... lucky... I remember that time raining, Ahpek, me and another friend sits in his car (4 person). 1 Satria GTI modified challenge him (with 2 person inside), my friend still win, LOL.i think ah pek also scared sit inside his putra... LOL! Street racing focus a lot of mid-low to mid-high rpm, top rpm is less important. Its not like drag or race tuning, where the racer can always use high and redline rpm. Why??? bcoz on street we always gotta brake and accel due to traffic or corners. Tat's why u see my bike top speed ok ok only, but pickup is really good (and I m going to make it better soon |

(FZ block)... Btw charge did u try to take off the TPS from stock carb and install it at ur big carb??? Some of them from t135 DIY it, and so they hv big carb wif TPS... But i hv no idea how they make it, it seems quite complicated... RM300+ is possible if it is a 2nd hand FZ block, bcoz the cost price of the block itself is more than RM350. Workmapship will be RM150. I dont use TPS, it is a bad feature if you don't have a fully programmable racing CDI. |

QUOTE(bizzy123 @ Jun 30 2010, 07:34 PM) Off Topic here, charge, does cars muffler and the downpipe affect the performance of the car??? As I said, my previous muffler has been chopped down by my MUM ok, this looks out of topic, but it applies to 135LC exhaust pipe.Every part of the exhaust pipe counts for performance. the welding itself is very important too. If you want performance with stock sound level, change the extractor, because it has a stupid catalyse there, PLUS very idiotic 3-in-1 connector. |

QUOTE(UncleCheang @ Jul 1 2010, 10:32 AM) Huh your royal purple is full syn one ah, damn... haha... I still got 2 bottles left, 1 for you 1 for chris. We are meeting up around 7pm at Bee Hock today, u wanna come along? That day BH tauke said is full syn, i thought he tipu me BTW you still have royal purple boh? I want 1 bottle... So conclusion is... the best pipe is still your custom pipe? I cannot tahan want to change pipe liao... when u free next week? We need to go together one right? conclusion is, custom pipe with fine tuning is the best. Bee Hock custom pipe is more for good top speed, but low end lacks a bit. If you change to bigger manifold, perhaps u can get better mid range (good for cruising). |

QUOTE(Itsuki_Kun @ Jul 1 2010, 11:48 AM) Charge bro.. When you still got royal purple ? because I want book 1 bottle after my last break in.. Perhaps end of this month I have new royal purple stock. I'd suggest you to use semi-synthetic for another 1000km before going straight to full synthetic. You can keep the Royal Purple until your odometer hits 2000km.I'm just back from doing my 3rd break in... the EO was still clear... not dirty at all.. meanz my engine eh thing already clear till 7788 liao right ? because last 2 time.. the oil very dirty.. QUOTE(bizzy123 @ Jul 1 2010, 09:07 PM) haha, spayz is familiar also ma. QUOTE(alexei @ Jul 2 2010, 12:45 AM) Ok. Took apart my carb once again, 3rd time in a week. Removed all the jets, cleaned them up, replaced the stock jet with 17.5 and mainjet from to stock 200. Mainjet needle set to one notch higher (leaner), to delay fuel mixture for about 1/16th of a throttle and make it leaner to 3/4 of throttle. tats cool, I'll try your bike again in next TT. Air screw doesn't seem to have any effect on idling. Can't even stall the engine, but I leave it to 2.5 turns out anyway... took it for a ride, and it's all good now. First time smelling burnt fuel instead of watching petrol gas spewing out of my exhaust pipe, haha... Changed rear sprocket from 39 to 35, making 120kmh @ 7000rpm @ 6th gear. This will be very good for my highway trips. Hopefully can break my previous record of 11liter to 380km (PG - Sg Besi petrol station) QUOTE(UncleCheang @ Jul 2 2010, 08:56 AM) I want to change, but scare police will kacau only ok, js let me know next week. The pipe manifold is already custom made, but if u feel not enough mid range, we can re-customize again This week cannot lor, too busy working, next Wed onwards i am free liao, hehe... So you mean after changing the custom pipe still need to change bigger manifold ah? I thought the custom pipe comes with custom manifold liao? |

Calvin's one should be 40-14. Bee Hock custom pipe is meant for more top speed and sacrifice low-end torque, so in terms of pickup, bizzy will have better advantage, as bigger manifold + small back pipe increase acceleration.
Finally my cylinder head is sent to rework, 1 more week to go... i think it should be fine to have TT on 17th. ^^ |

QUOTE(alexei @ Jul 6 2010, 10:09 PM) I dunno. But, I'm guessing you wanna use the 125Z rpm meter? 26mm carb helps a lot. If FX125 is using 22mm carb, it can't have this much BHP.I think stock compare, FX125 has bigger HP than LC135, 13.3 vs 11.33. It comes with 26mm carb, and tuned to max HP at 10.5k RPM... remember what charge said about his experience with Belang? I think this is exactly what FX125 is about. @Charge, do you think LC can tune to anyway close to FX125 performance? Before changing to 58.5mm and 60.0mm set, here's my setup: 1) 28mm Keihin Carb 2) NOB1 SSS (the top end so-so only) 3) BRT CDI adjustable 4) Power booster 5) Head porting. 6) Head skimming 0.5mm (for higher compression) 7) TK Valve and Racing Bee valve spring and I already can win FZ150i from 0 to 120kph. compare the FZ150 and FX125 horsepower then you'll know. by the way, I m not really keen on peak horsepower figure. My bike peak horsepower is pretty low, but the powerband across each rpm is very balanced. |

QUOTE(bizzy123 @ Jul 6 2010, 11:03 PM) There is a guy at t135 from m'sia using 125z head on 135lc ^^ quite nice, but I ask him whether the RPM meter works or not, he said not at all XD But it is kinda nice using 125z head on LC but I guess mata will kacau... U nid to change the handle bar in order to install the head... So I guess better change the KOSO meter instead of plugging 125z onto LC body ^^ The only thing I dream of is 135lc front part + 125zr rear part it will be awesome!!! I do think that 125z tail is nicer than 135lc tail using R6 tail-light XD What? Use a 2 stroke head on 135LC???I seriously think he is BS-ing. QUOTE(0163119779 @ Jul 7 2010, 08:29 AM) y lc dont use dohc engine??.....just now give 1 scoter cut head....me useing EX5 till 110 cant chase him...its NAZA GTR150... SOHC got its good. QUOTE(alexei @ Jul 7 2010, 08:38 AM) charge: Satisfaction guaranteed! Now I started to understand the powerband feel more. A bike that pulls from low to high rpm feels like not accelerating, since the G is pretty constant. No wonder I always feel more accel G on Belang, bcoz there is unequal accel from low to high. (same goes to MIVEC) |
