I'm using 2G line now. Grip at bottom LEFT corner.

Looking at the User Manual, the antenna is placed below the back cover. This is where our unit usually get warmed easily. But we can still make & receive call even when the bars are dropping.

has any1 here flashed other version of radio rom b4 (juz radio rom)? if yes ,which version is suitable for Malaysia country? and i must use Hspl or hspl2 ?thanks...

Currently me on 1.66 rom and flashed radio rom to 2.07.50.27 from 2.06.51.07. Cant tell you which radio rom to use coz ur location is different than mine . It is best for you to test it our yourself. Also take note some says to stick to same version ending number if dont intend to flash rom.

eg:
My original radio rom : 2.06.51.07 , for your new radio trying using those with 51 too.

hey fellas...i remember a while back...someone posted the link on what youre supposed to do after flashing a few times to different ROMs...something like a real clean up to make sure everything from the last ROM is gone...wasnt a hard reset...was something else..

Anyone remember?

EDIT : Nvm...i remember now...it was Task29 smile.gif

Task29 is highly recommended. I have had no problem at all with the phone since using it a few months ago. Without it, bugs will appear about a month or so after flashing.

All hotfixes are system files and MUST be install to internal memory.

What did you install ?? Other programs you can install on card - it is strange you say your phone memory is running low.

What rom version you are on ? There is no harm installing the hotfix as it'll not overwrite your files if it is newer. If the hotfix files are incompatible, you will not be able to install it esp if you are using a cook rom

Your phone lagging - cannot help you unless you provide more info on : original rom or cooked rom ; if is latter which and ver number ?

Task29 I agree is 101 % recommended to be done. It is only one extra step but it solves alot of buggy and laggy issues if you often change rom. Now I make it a compulsory step even if I change rom from the same cook

You should have at least 100Mb of RAM left unless you are storing all you data, eg music, photo, movies etc at the device.

Install all your programs to sd card except system files. I suggest you uninstall some of your programs example utilities, games, productivity, readers etc and reinstall to card. Probably when you install you did not notice there is an option for you to choose. Actually it is "impossible" to run out of space on internal memory- use the SD card

If you are new, go to post # 3 : Rishy had summarized very well all the info you might need. I'd say is compulsory reading. Refer back here any questions on any issues

i suspect could be your photo or video saving location has been set to main memory instead storagecard.
check where is your photos and videos store? look for DCIM folder using your file explorer make sure its on strorage card not your main memory.
