guys, how much free space should we leave in each partition? Fixed amount or percentage? i usually try to leave 20-25% free, more than that i feel like there's a slight lag.

for me it's juz as little as possible for system disk...

anything i dun need, delete...

like my 40 GB partition i leave 10GB free.... my 250GB i leave about 30GB.

but if i go up to 640GB? leave how much free? or does it not matter?

Really doesn't matter if its not the system partition iinm...your D partition can even max it till its left with 1MB ...for system partition, usually i left around 10GB ..well, even 5GB is enough

lol, but if its harddisk on the whole?

Better save maybe about 10GB lor, you need it later

the i3 vs p8700? the key word is Optimization =D hehehe, anyways, seriously, i think unless the HT on the i3 is being used, the p8700 wins, i guess? Well in astria's tread, the P8000 series is mainstream while the i3 is value....

Because got one dude, he recently bought the last minute deal SXPS16 RM2999, but P8700 no stock and Dell are changing the proc to i3 370M, good deal or not??

i thought that dude got i5?
