7200rpm is fastest. (Ok, the new Momentus XT....)

The 1TB and 750GB has 12.5mm height while the most notebook are using 9.5mm hdd which is the standard, so it depends on the space left on your notebook....
Fastest, should be Momentus XT, else pretty much is Hitachi 7K500 |

edit: Running on the Nautis driver.... Miahaha is correct, this runs hotter, slightly. My idle temp from 58 > 60 But i notice changing between the intel and 9600 is faster... gonna try if physX and games work on this well.

yea, BSOD crashed when i tried installing in normal mode. So i did (after crash)
update intel driver > restart into safe mode > Uninstall the 9600 driver + driver sweeper > restarted into safe mode again > Ran installer > now working fine... gonna game soon. Cause i was also on the official benQ driver. But i couldn't get the graphics from FIFA 10 to run properly. No matter what setting it ran on low settings... so now gonna run it again (Some games like shattered horizon also couldn't work. PhysX also a problem on the BenQ Driver) Added on July 13, 2010, 12:32 pmi'm running the 191.90 version. Not the 258 This post has been edited by DoubleU: Jul 13 2010, 12:32 PM |
