Money sucking uni bro. Facilities all good, lecturers great but quite a number of the real good ones left already. The sucky ones, really suck! Jeopardize student's grades...seriously...they cant even teach and their marking style doesn't make sense at all!!

Halo if you have Dr. or Prof. or even Ir., if you cant teach, don't work as a lecturer!!!

Uniten Oh Uniten..Cant wait to leave you end of 2012.

Oh yea, they increased the fees for degree by few Ks. Not 49k anymore.

back in 1998-2000.. uniten was the expensive place to learn..

back then.. it cost me RM300+ per credit hour while the other two Uni (UTP and MMU) just charge half of it.. end up with (with lack of facilities -at that time)

It's a private so it's given to be expensive but their greed has been extreme. Last I was in 350 for IT subjects and 400 for CS. These days, can't say I know. And that's IT/CS subjects which are cheaper than Engine subjects.

Here's some increase in fees while I was in (from my ledger balance).

Apartment:
Amanah - from 170 to 180 (during change from paid internet to 'free' internet)
Cendi - from 235 to 245 (same as above)

These days I think
Amanah - 200
Cendi - 280
Electric not included

Tuition fees:
Foundation - 6000 to 8000 around a year later. These days I think it's 9000.
Degree - No raise. I know there was quite a few ruckus and announcement for raise of fees but it wasn't there in my ledger so I guess I wasn't affected

Anyone here who a part of managing IT Week in Uniten before? Got a tonnes of burden to carry right now.

Hello, does anyone knows about Bachelor of computer science (software engineering) offered by this university(Uniten)? Does the lecturer who is teaching this course good?

The lecturers? Average. There are some of them who can teach well but yet, if you must know, Uniten is a private college. All I can say is they really living up to our expectation. lol

Will leave this place by August next year i hope. PPOU programe lol.

I haz friends who haz them. for local scholarship and overseas scholarship.

They did but majority of the students abused the 'gift'. Still they should not charge industrial rate to those staying in the hostels.
