Penang ada UTM Space, dkt D'Piazza sana

UTM SPACE ada 18 center, 10 aktif, yg lain dormant. kalau nak aktifkan yg dormant, boleh kumpul student ramai2 (minima 10 orang), nanti SPACE akan aktifkan center tersebut utk diadakan kelas.

aku tak ingat sangat, tapi yg aku perasan, center yg ada ialah:

lumut
kuala lumpur
shah alam
melaka
skudai
kota bahru
k.terengganu
kuantan
kuching
miri
kota kinabalu

yg lain tak ingat.

Question regarding UTM.
I am planning to apply for UTM in Johor Bahru.

I wanted to ask about this. When is the next intake for this? As I was told about January. I am a diploma graduate, planning to pursue Degree in IPTA.
Please do advise how to apply and etc.

utm only got one intake yearly. that is in september..so the application shud around july if im not mistaken. let others confirm

I took Diploma in Information Technology. Probably I wanted to apply for the Software Engineering.
Had to wait and see though. Aww I had job opportunity, thought that intake is around January.

anyway your diploma is from utmkl issit? or other uni? now SE in UTM already with 4 yrs syllabus (before this 3 and a half year only)

if you are from utmkl the max u can transfer ur credit is around a year. so total wud be a 3 yrs deg. if from other uni prepared to take full 4 yrs

guys...how to apply master degree at utmkl? what is the lowest gpa to apply for the master degree?

Probably gonna go for UTM Skudai for Chemical Engineering next year.

I'm from Johor Bahru, taking from other colleges ... so shouldn't be able to transfer credit?..
Because i heard from my lecturers most of my subjects is from degree ... like System analysis and design, data communications , java programming and such.

go to www.sps.utm.my and apply online. however, not all masters are offered in UTM KL.

lowest cgpa is 3.00.

study hard. chemical engineering average intake is 4.00 (from both STPM and SPM) for the last two years.

as long as it's accredited by both MQA and the respective authority in that field, u should be able to transfer a maximum of 30% of the total credit to be taken in degree.

for example, if the degree requires 120 credits, u can only transfer a maximum of 36 credits.

Ahhh ..That relieved my feeling.
Gave me a shock of my life when I saw couldn't transfer it at all. Probably .. should be able to though. Gonna visit UTM someday since it's in SKUDAI. But .. for awhile, I have to wait for June. Meanwhile .. finding job then. Hahaha

what mr azarimy said are true. you can only transfer max 30% of the total credit

but here's the case. during my batch from poli or other uni this is not entirely up to the MQA accreditation. mostly they managed to transfer at most around 15 credit hour

for example java programming in poli usually 2-3 hrs credit, in UTM it is 4 credit. so that totally rule out the subject to be transferred

im not going to scare you or anything but that is the truth. best case is just give a visit to FOC faculty and talk to the office people and discuss your possibility of transferring the total credit. you can bring your previous exam slip so they can have a better picture
