Hi guys, few questions here:

1) Can the motorola milestone flash to custom froyo ROM after rooted?

2) If the answer to 1 is YES, where can I find the flashing custom ROM step by step guide?

Thanks in advance. biggrin.gif

Hey Sanosizo, really glad i bought the Otter Case from you, the missus dropped something on the phone and it only left a scratch/dent on the case. Internally still cun, phew.....

Rooted with Universal Androot and overclock to 800 Mhz (i think) from 550. Looking good. Waiting for Froyo though...

I'm using the otterbox too..satisfy with it..cause no scratch on my phone..n the great part is it reduces the heat of my phone..normally the phone at 35 degree but after using otterbox it get 32 degree..I think my hands produce heat to the phone..lol..

I think the case itself absorb the heat that's why it lowers the battery temperature but I can't confirm that since I've sold my milestone. Too bad otterbox didn't make any case for the xt720 sad.gif

Anyway it's good to hear that the otterbox really did its job.

My sis is using the milestone, and I have a few queries.

Firstly the contact list doesn't show groups.
What are you guys using that shows groups or settings to do so.

I managed to download the ASTRO and SMS Backup application using 3G.
Backing up my applications and sms were successful.

Then I backup my contacts using Moto Phone Portal.
It was saved as MotoContacts.bak in my desktop.

I did a factory reset after backing up everything.
It did not solve my issue of not being able to download applications from the Market using wifi. I shall just send my phone to Motorola.

Then I tried restoring everything. Restoring applications and sms wasn't a problem. The problem is when I tried restoring my contacts, it says "Unable to import. Incompatible file format."
