Have to take out battery and wait 15 minutes then only manage to boot on again...

I cant seem to flash my Milestone... icon_question.gif

When I connect my phone to RDS Lite 5.0, I want to flash 2.2.1 in but after creating image part, the phone will automatically boot, shows a Moto logo followed by Android logo and straight jump into the pin request page. RDS Lite will treat it as FAIL.

Tried different ways for the whole day edi. Feel like throwing the phone to the wall. sleep.gif

I'm flashing from a modded 2.2.1 to the official 2.2.1 because that modded 2.2.1 has gone haywire. rclxub.gif I've forgotten whats the modded one is called, but I got that a few weeks before the official 2.2.1 for Milestone was released.

and I didn't do any back ups nor recovery prior to my last flashing. In fact I never do any back ups except for Google Sync =X

its ok. I've already solve the issue. Apparently RDS Lite wont run properly in 64bit operating system (Am I the only one facing this issue here?). I spend 3-4 hours using my 64-bit Windows 7 installed PC and still couldn't solve it and it only took me 15 minutes to kaotim everything using my notebook which is running on Win7 32bit.

been quite some time since I last posted here

time has come, sadly for the demise of my milestone and also my departure from the Android world. I'm settling down for a berry. Its been a great phone, until the touchscreen decided to go wonky and we all know without the touch screen working perfectly, the phone can only be a good paperweight.

P/S: I would appreciate it if anyone has any clue about where to service the phone by a proper technician who knows the existence of the brand "Motorola". smile.gif
