The coverage is there, but when I check with CS, they mention port already full. Don't know how long i need to wait until there is an available port.

Your case is same like me. You'll have to wait until 1 of your neighbors will cancel their UNIFI then you can take over their port. I was very frustrated with TM because last week I saw 2 houses away from mine has been vacated (and empty) because there is a "House For Rent" notice on its gate. I immediately went to the TM Point to enquire if I can takeover their UNIFI port but that useless TM staff said he cannot check on the status on his system. I had already applied for UNIFI since 04 August 2015 and still waiting, waiting, waiting. Yesterday, my immediate neighbor had just installed his UNIFI. I believe he's using the relinquished port from that empty house, because I had check with the installer and he confirmed that he is taking over from a terminated port for my immediate neighbor as all the 8 ports inside the existing Fibre Distribution Panel (FDP) box behind my house have been fully utilized. There is no spare main fibre cable (the black ones) available, so they will also need to "pull" a new main fibre cable (from the nearest TM Box), possibly from the main road to the electrical pole in order to install another new FDP. bangwall.gif TM will be very reluctant to do that anyway, unless they are sure that there are 8 new UNIFI subscribers waiting in the same vicinity. That's the greatest disadvantage of having only 1 provider being the monopoly. The consumers will eventually suffer due to lack of fair competition.

Luckily, my immediate neighbor is kind to allow me to share his WiFi. I offered to share his subscription cost, but he declined. The only setback is his system will be OFF if he goes overseas. Eventually, I will still prefer to have my own UNIFI (and don't know will have to wait for how much longer?) if possible.

You should have asked an agent to to that for you and mention about the port issue. They have commission so there is incentive for them to follow through your application and see to everything

Yes, agree. So now I have consulted the same agent whom my neighbor had engaged and she promised to "look out" for me. Anyway, I don't think there will be any chance unless another UNIFI subscriber will terminate in my area.

They told me that don't even bother to apply through the TM Centres because they are all useless and will never follow up accordingly. I have already proven that by myself. They just only know how to take salaries. Malaysia Boleh.

This is already the Fibre Distribution Panel (FDP) Box behind my house, but according to the TM's installation technician, all the 8 ports are fully used.

How to get TM to "pull" another cable to install a new FDP? Currently, there are at least 3 houses waiting for UNIFI, including myself, but despite my several requests to TM (via email and also at the TM Point office), they don't seem to entertain. I had traced and found that several of the fibre cables near my house are grouped together and then go underground from 1 of the poles on the main road a few hundred meters away. So, I suspect they won't want to "pull" another new fibre cable because it will be quite costly for them.
