Why I see all surrounding areas got, but here like don't have.

My area is just behind SeaPark, near ESH side.
You know it's weird because all areas surrounding us already covered.
SS2 town, SS1, SS3, SS4, DJ, Section 14, etc covered as far as I know (I may be wrong though).
And it's even funnier there're stalls outside KFC (SeaPark) promoting Unifi.
It's as though they purposely leave us out.

Anyway I have made complaints to MCMC, etc.
Today received an SMS from TMUniFi sasying "the expected serviceability is on end of November 2011".
I don't know whether to take that as bullcrap or good news.

In the meantime, you may wanna try YES broadband.
Speed as reported seems hella fast. I know I'm gonna give it a try soon.

Well after my complain to MCMC, TM's last response to me was that the expected serviceability is on end of Nov 2011.
If by that time still nothing, I'm gonna make things turn ugly.

On the bright side, yesterday I noticed ppl doing roadworks behind SeaPark houses (those directly facing the famous rojak stall).
I suspected they were TM ppl. Once it started raining, they disappeared fast lol.
Later I found those new TMUnifi boxes installed at the phone poles all along behind those houses.

They are just 100m from my place. I hope this is good news.

I was referring to Jalan 21/22, houses facing Hasan Rojak directly.
I usually park behind those houses for lunch/dinner, that's where I noticed the UniFi boxes yesterday.
I'm more or less sure they weren't there before (may be wrong though).

But really hope this means they're coming soon. Literally 100m away only.

Now I see the fiber box (FTU?) behind my house already.
Don't know when they came to install, these guys quite sneaky lol.

The box is still only hanging low and not yet numbered, which should mean it's been put there very recently.
I think it's coming soon gua. But one can only hope.

As for your place, if it has the green box on land, means don't need the white box at the phone poles right? Either one only required.

IINM the beige box on land has nothing to do with UniFi, more for Streamyx.
Only the green box on land or white box on poles is for UniFi.

Had a chat with TM technician working on the beige box just now.
He agak also need 1-month or so for UniFi to be available here.

I wish so too. But he was doing work on Streamyx box la, not UniFi.
I think we can only wait until coverage is officially ready in their system.

Also received a similar call a few weeks back.
I asked them to confirm whether my area is truly covered or not. They called back later and told me not in system, sorry no coverage.
Pleasantly surprised at first, then unpleasantly disappointed heh.
