meaning my existing telephone number - cannot be use if i want to maintain the same number for unifi. so have to terminate my phone number and subscribe to new unifi number, then can.

hellooooo..... whether ur house is a landed or high rise property U CAN STILL MAINTAIN YOUR OLD PHONE LINE WITH OLD NUMBER u just need to pay extra $2x to maintain that old phone line with old number; UNIFI will however give u a new number in which comes with discounted call rates n no rental.

ps- you CAN'T exchange the numbers.
*
yes, can maintain the number but not now. they said if want to maintain my existing number, need to wait until 2nd quarter of 2012 because my current phone line cannot support yet.

if apply new line, then can get the unifi. i select the pre-defined list gave by them. so far, no issue on the new number as i hardly use house phone.

can somebody check on mine.
SS3/27 Kelana Jaya.
Was on the phone with the unifi agent just now ( the call centre ) they told me my areas activation will only start on APRIL 2012!!
What the!!
My neighbours unifi is up an running! ( Across the street ) SS5 is up and running! ( my 2nd house )!! Is this unifi people that stupid to notice!
*
checked it on website. SS 3/27 doesnt support Unifi yet. guess have to wait.

you can check it yourself. go behind your house or front, check any Unifi box with big round shape cable on the telephone pole or not. if found, then potential you can get Unifi pretty fast. if no, then have to wait until they install it.

it happen on my area. didn't see the unifi box but my neighbour across the stress (same SS 3) having the unifi. so wait for few months and then saw the unifi box installed. then another few weeks, my area are covered in unifi biggrin.gif

the box is there long time ago. All the wires are properly placed already. But still, this UNIFI idiot keep telling me April 2012 although i told her that i could even see the box from my window. The box with the black yellow stripe cable. She told me the infrastructure is not ready yet.... How?

Added on August 8, 2011, 6:44 pmYou are talking about this box right?

*
yes, this is the box. perhap maybe your current homeline cannot support it.

happen to me. my existing phone number cannot support unifi, need to wait until next year 2nd quarter 2012. so they said if want now, have to subscribe to new number in order to support. maybe you can check with them. OR just wait another few weeks. i believed will be very soon once they place the unifi box there.

Owh, that might be the cause. I gave the TMUNIFI personnel my current streamyx number. So, what if i apply for a different phone line? different number that is. Would it speed up the process?
*
best if you call the unifi marketing through 100. they will check it on the spot. i get the info there.

Hmm... I have this same exact box behind my house. At the newly built distribution boxes, I can see them opening canopies and pulling wires and installing some switches.  hmm.gif

when you see the box being installed, have to wait a while (maybe few weeks) for them to get ready on the infrastructure...
