pretty strange isn't it?

You received the email informing the availablity of unifi for your area a.k.a. Kinrara exchange but when you call up their CS team they said will only commence on January 2012..

it is either their CS is really not updated, or the email is just purely to inform you that the service will commence VERY SOON (Jan 2012 my god ), but didn't mean July/ August? Then some TM installer said the service is already there but need activation on July...

Is it Kajang already covered by UNIFI?

i stay in sglong .. got 1 kiosk unifi here say next month got unifi

but when call tm, they sa march 2011 only got

till unifi cover every corner of malaysia,other country also started new technology already lar

Jelapang there got big settlement village called Manjoi and Meru.
Like they say it's one of the largest settlement of people inside there.
There's a need to do NEP and bring development in there.

A whole different definition of "richness". Not monetary related but... you and the rest have the idea.
As long as the copper loop is within 500m it should be good for upto 50
The new ZTE cabinets which pop up around Ipoh having codes such as:

<Area> Vxxxxx V
Example:
For Ipoh area: IP Vxxxxx V
For Tasik area: TSK Vxxxxx V

That's if earlier forumer said it's true that Unifi will be made available by September this year as told by phone operator. VDSL2 is more sound since the short timing involved.

Considering ZTE VDSL2 equipment is good anything but I wouldn't recommend Huawei VDSL2. I think some forumers have been complaining about them too.

The better VDSL2 solution being Zyxel but not sure TM would consider using them. They have lots of experience deploying VDSL2 in large scale projects around the world.CHT Taiwan has Zyxel supply all their VDSL2 equipment with the smaller share snapped by Dlink.

Most housing area will use underground cable. But old one from the pole. Check you current telephone line.

My place isn't at Taman Tasik, but relies on Taman Tasik. 

My place is just nearby. I see those distribution boxes and white boxes on the tiang already done at my place. As of lately, no TM workers are doing anything for UniFi. I'm guessing they have already completed this stage?

Whereas, you can see them being active at Taman Bukit Teratai, installing stuff at the boxes and such. 

I remember that it took them like 2 weeks to do those cables and boxes around my area.

So hopefully within the next 1 to 2 months can get already. 

Not sure if its true because some blogger named Bdk Botak from Northern states who claims he's from TM Business Research Division says other wise.

His blog mentioned that:

Cabinets with 'V' only supports up to Streamyx 2mbps, 'R' upto 8mbps and only those with 'F' have fiber optic ready around the area.

But contrary to his statement, the V cabinets are the newer ones around just installed recently  while the 'F' coded ones are usually the old cabinets lying around.

TM HSBB contractor came at my place for the 2nd time to put the box and wiring today..

Asked the contractor when can I subscribe to Unifi, he said.. around 5 month

What !!!! Still need 5 month after install the box and wiring ?   
Why still need so long ? 

Need time to figure out how to "steal" bandwidth from existing users for new subscribers?

This means when unifi comes to Kuching mostly it will be delivered via VDSL2 technology as i can see many "VxxxV" cabinet around Kuching. Am i right?
