I saw them laying down the main underground cable at my area in April this year. How long will it takes for Unifi to be available? By the way, I still can't see the FTTH boxes on the loop poles.

Dear Mr. Danny,

Thank you for your interest in TM's new UniFi products.

Refer to your e-mail dated 3rd August 2010 on UniFi availability , we just checked your address against current availability, and we are sincerely apologise to report that as of today, your address is currently NOT serviceable. However, we are adding FDCs (Fibre Drop Cabinets) as fast as we can. We are deploying new areas all the time. Some sections of a city may get service before others. It’s all dependent on how fast we can dig and lay cable in a given neighborhood, and get the required hardware in place. We are currently unable to give better estimation time.

You may enter your details expressing your interest at our UniFi website:

Should you have not register at our UniFi website, kindly do so as we will be using the registration list to call customers who can get Unifi service as we add new FDCs.

Feel free to contact us in about a month and we will check for you again. We hope the explanation has revert to your concern.

We look forward to serving you better.

huh...

the other day I went to TMpoint Kajang to apply for their 4MBps BB deal as the price is at a reasonable rate.... they said that my area only support a max of 1MBps.... I feel we being shortchanged... Then I ask when HSBB will be coming and they told me that Kajang will only receive this service in the year 2013... i told them don't bother doing anything cos the world will be gone by then!!!!! NBI at it's very best!!!!!

don't trust their streamyx coverage for 4mbps. I have applied for several times and it is not successful and reason given is unable to support. I have managed to upgrade with the help of mcmc and cfm.
