What a joke, been waiting since last year, call them nearly every two weeks, they keep mentioning a later date, called them and gave them my name and number, added myself to the demand list, and what do I get? 3RD quarter of 2012 for Kajang? Pfft, it will sure go on till a later date if I call to check again. Really lost hope for Tm, Kajang is one of the last areas to be covered. Didn't even take any initiative even though people called them to ask and push them to do work faster. Streamyx 1MBPS just sucks, it just sucks. Bad service, connection and everything.

That's more than 3 years from now.

Hoping for some other fixed line provider to make available their service here.

I am staying in I had also applied Unifi with those small dealer which they setup their booth at the road side near kuchai lama. At first i ask them when is it available, the small dealer said it will be available on April 2011. So, i sign up immediately. That was sometime back in February 2011 if not mistaken. Months passed, and was so excited that unifi will be available on April 2011… Months waiting, is already April and I saw some technician doing cabling and setup at Sri Petaling Jalan 149k… I thought if will be very soon that unifi coming to our area… wait wait wait… give unifi customer service a call… as usual… like hold… too many calls that they are handling… finally got the chance to talk customer service personnel and check on my application… customer service personnel said, i was not registered… maybe the small dealer still holding your form because the service is still unavailable… i asked, when is the unifi available for us sri petaling residence… he answered, sri petaling is using Sg. Besi exchange and that would only available in 2nd quarter of 2012!!!

wow!!! immediately i hang up the phone… sorry that i am not that polite, i just feel disappointed and also dont want to waste my phone bill further since been talking and being hold for such a long time… Haiiizzzz sien sien sien… lets keep waiting and hope we have alternate HighSpeed Broadband service provider at our area!!!

I don't see much problem with slower uploads for home users.
You can't even get your downloads right, you bother about uploads?

You upload so much nanti kena tangkap mang.
RIM/RIAA come after you..

Where got people upload HD content almost everyday one.

Now with Streamyx 512kbps upload speed. A 20mb shouldn't even make me wait for more than 20mins..

No the regular remote DSLAM has FOxx and Rxx prefixes.

This newer ones have V prefixes on them and they are ready for VDSL2 deployment with just a change of line cards inside.

Old ones are like:

IP FOxxx

New ones:

IP VxxxxxV

ZTE makes good VDSL2 equipments as well as Zyxel.

Zyxel leads in miniature FTTB switches for building basements.

ZTE has nice roadside cabinets for FTTC deployment.
