this dragon flew dunno from where inside my house sat on my phone (the red thingy is the capdase cover). i quickly grab camera and flash snap2. then bring this fella out. haha laugh.gif

also without flash surely cant take this pic. taken at F/32 and F/16 inside house where got enuff light laugh.gif

ahpingko : flash widen your photography scope, like im now learning to strobe, jumping shots, some others. u like macro sure u need flash biggrin.gif

e-jump : very nice thumbup.gif . the bokeh from your previous shot wide open 85mm 1.4 dem nice also. but i still dunno if im up to full manual lens (aperture and focus) . and the distance to full body shots abit too far for me sweat.gif

close up filter just reduce the minimum focussing distance, hence magnify it. i suggest you get the +4 ones. the +10 tends to be sharp only at the middle part of the image and losses alot of IQ. my 2 cents nod.gif

anyone joining PM newbies model shoot in City this saturday at Dataran Merdeka there. RM15 only rclxms.gif

ya...
getting a used one...
i bought a550 body onli...
so looking for a better lense dat is zoomable...
for all rounder pics...
can suggest me a few around Rm1k for a used one...
or maybe Rm1250 for a new one...

if you dont mind aperture wise. try get the sal16-106
cover most of the range. pair nicely with flash to cover non constant aperture. sharp at wide open and nearly as good as cz1680

im sure can get used ones around ur budget rclxms.gif

sorry my mistake
if its me , with that kind of budget i'll get a kitlens 1855 with flash f42 used one..
having flash is much more fun. more things i can do or can take with flash. bounce + ambient better than wide aperture with less sharp or noisy pic

but abit heavier to carry around thou. just my 2 cents. also if you get lucky abit can get sal1855 (rm250) + f42 flash (rm500) + 50mm 1.8(rm350)

iamKiet : for that setup, usually they use more expensive strap like the blackrapid or something. Also sometimes bringing extra body lagi berat XD

hiansitt : haha one birthday party just get few alkaline one . IKEA ones are cheap and good thumbup.gif .

alucard_my : pop up flash GN is around 12m. if add on diffuser sure shorter. also sometimes if pair with long lenses even sal1870 can get that big big shadow sweat.gif

thinking of getting that Industry Disgrace also but the KLCC branch say current stock only have brown and the other one i forgot what color .
