it's good by the way, save space..
just that dslr got alot of button..
i just think it consuming the battery a little bit more while playing with the menu..
it's use a new battery.. really need extra of it..

NEX-3 with 18-55 and NEX-5 with pancake..
focusing alot on lcds.. and 3d lcds..

buy the 40" lcd got free ps3, fifa games..

The battery is terrible. My 1st charge went to PD. After about 40 shots dropped to 50%! it really chews battery like mad.

Cheh! Lousy promotion. Who wanna see 40" TV? So small.........

Bored so decided to write some rubbish from my brain with regards to replacing the kitlens with a 'better' lens.

So you're not pleased with the 18-55mm f3.5-f5.6 kitlens and want to 'upgrade'. What lens to get next? Here are some suggestions:

If you are sticking to APS-C bodies for the foreseeable future:

Premium choice:

1. Carl Zeiss 16-35mm f2.8 zoom. You get full Zeiss goodness! 'nuff said.
Bonus : This can be used on a FF cam too!

2. Carl Zeiss 16-80mm f3.5-f4.5 zoom. Baby Zeiss.

Budget choice:

1. SAL 16-105mm f3.5-f5.6 zoom. Almost Zeiss.
2. SAL 18-250mm f3.5-f6.3 zoom. Range, range, range.
3. Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 zoom. Best liked budget f2.8 lens for APS-C.


If you are planning to upgrade to full frame:

Premium choice:

1. Carl Zeiss 24-70mm f2.8 zoom. Best in its class! 'nuff said.

2. Sigma 24-70mm f2.8 HSM zoom. Close contender to the Zeiss.

Budget choice:

1. SAL 28-75mm f2.8 zoom.
2. SAL 24-105mm f3.5-f4.5 zoom. Discontinued - only while stocks lasts.


Most practical and cost effective solution:

Keep your kitlens and keep shooting until your skills forces you to change lenses!

it using small battery.. light but need to sacrifice on power usage..
big lcd also consuming alot..

actually there are more than 10 lcds they are put together..
the biggest cost around RM29,000.00

Actually that was the 1st thing I wanted to buy. But then I realized there's no way to see where I'm focussing. I'm a bokeh freak n I need to be very careful about where I'm focussing at. N the price of the Vf is ridiculous. Rm700!!!!! WTH man, the Fisheye so big with so much glass n metal oso cost rm400 only.

They really need to revise the price of the VF. Don't understand how it can cost more than the Fisheye.

i was tempted to get a used cz1680 since the appealing 16mm wide is really nice for landscape shoot. Search high and low for a second hand cz and no one selling at decent price. Then settled down with tammy 1750.

few weeks later theres like 2-3 person (including moo) sells their cz.
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.

fml.

actually what so nice about Carl Zeiss lens?...what is the advantage over normal 1?..what about Leica lens?..last time i using panasonic cam..the Leica lens is nice...

Panasonic pay for the rights to use the Leica name only. U wanna see quality Leica lens, u need to see the real Leica. The Leica 50mm f1.0 costs more than the average person's car or even 1 year's gaji!!!!!!!!

want to add super budget lens: 18-70mm.
