its all in the lighting...

I think they doubled the amount of lightning to compensate the phone. Hell they even have light go light up the hair

so now we can dump our SLRs and flashguns buy compensate it with an iphone and carry a few tens of thousand bucks of lighting gears when we go shooting?

haha with my current gear i can get only the iPhone 4 , no lights or pasar malam torch light

today i'm going to KLCC tengok-tengok the Crumpler shop, any other interesting shops to look?? (affordable ones )

That's why we must learn from them. The camera is not that important. The lighting is!

First we must know the limitation of the camera we use. The iPhone 4 - miniscule sensor so high ISO is out of the question. Use lowest ISO and bombard the subject with enough light to make the most of it. Also make sure to light it the correct way - main lights, fill lights, separation lights and what else have you?

This is the reason why photography is also known as painting with lights.

Sony Style KLCC have demo units placed in the open. Just carry your own memory card and slot in and shoot away. As long as the battery does not run out you can test.

KLCC shops all prices sky high one - better go to places like Sg. Wang or Pudu Plaza to buy.

never really done any commercial product shots b4..any idea how much is the "market price"...? of coz i know diff photographer charges diff price..just need a rough price range so that i wont over/under charge for the shoot..

what the client needs :
1)Basic catalogue shots for website and print
2)Advertising shots

the product would be something an Ipad....it has 80~90% of the ipad look as what i saw in engadget...
