Only Platinum cards get 30 days protection n they dont pay 100%. Many million years ago used to be 6 months then drop to 3 months n now only 30 days. All thanks to stupid Malaysian mentality of always trying to make false claims until the banks finally gave up n withdrew all purchase protection. Only in recent years it came back but only for Platinum cards.

Yeah lo.. at first my friend decide to buy LX3 oredi. rm 1580... then uncle chin start poisoning my friends with NEX3 ..since is only rm 1999 top up rm300... then my friend interested liao.. n he see the hand grip difference between NEX3 n 5.. so decide just go for the best..good thing he didnt bought the rm200 extended warranty.... He really is very unlucky... His Euro currency he changed got stolen too last month.. Look like the thief has come n go around like his house..

clive, if he still has the serial number, make a police report, and email to customer service (polive report and serial) they will highlight the serial as stolen item. i think. try better then didnt try.

it all depends on what you're after... which are the parts you want in focus? it sometimes is a give and take in terms of how much DoF u want compared to how soft you want the background to be. i would normally stick to a range of f/2 to f/3.5 with focal lengths shorter than 70mm for portraits, any higher than that, the background will be too "in focus"** to separate the model from background

** : subjective to ratio of distance of photographer to model and background, and photographer's definition of in/out of focus

I didnt buy a NEX to go n put all these huge lenses on it la. I have very very big cameras cameras already. I bought the NEX so I can have a camera in my pocket at all times. If I wanted a proper fisheye lens, I go n buy a proper 15mm f2.8 fisheye for my SLRs d.
