Anyone having problem with Celcom broadband with iPhone4? Mine would not work. I called up Celcom Service Centre and they said that everything has been activated. But whenever I tried to use my broadband, it says that "You're not subscribed to any data plan.. bla bla"

Anyone having the same problem? Or there is a setting that I have overlooked? Please help.

to import phone into Malaysia, you need a telecommunication (from telecom?) approval letter and you also need to pay Malaysia tax for it. Most likely your item will be retain until you settle the 2 things.

my uk iphone 4 is:

Maxis, iOS 4.1 (8B117), Model MC605B, Modern Firmware 02.10.04

at first few weeks everything fine ... but last whole month the iphone 4 is NO SERVICE .... not to say intermittent no service ... it can be like 10 minits no service ... then got back Maxis 3G signal with normal full bar .... then will drop back to no service

and sometime it will pop-up a push msg said "restore needed", then i restored it then problem still the same

my friend lost the iphone 4s while clubbing last weekend, she bought the iphone last feb from apple store in Eldon Square Newcastle..

my question is

1. should she call the apple uk to inform them and blocked the phone imei? do the imei barred really works here?

2. she want to buy new set, but we are not familiar with iphone sales in malaysia, is there any official unlocked phone sell in lowyat plaza in kl? or we have to buy from maxis/celcom..

Yes you can purchase it from Apple Authorized Reseller store, all the local set iPhone that model number end with MY is unlocked.
