Never came across my mind..

Wanted to wait for insurance renew then change but the crackline is getting longer and longer.. So, I think it can't wait for 5 months..
*
if u got opt for windcreen coveradd on, why do u need to wait? if u claim the windscreen with that, it won't affect ur NCD as well. blink.gif

speak about the FC, u guys 32 litres petrol only can go for 330km++? just wondering how u guys "whack" the throttle. or perhaps the upgrades of sport rims gain the weight which cause the poor FC.

for my normal driving, i nvr get below 350km for 32 litres before after driving 2 years++ NHC. I record every re-fuel. Vary from poorest  12.8km/l to best 17.1km/l. if normal driving normally i get 13km/l to 14km/l. base on 70% to 80% city drive.

above result is base on ESSO RON95.
*
urs 70-80% city drive can get around 350km it is normal la. means u still drive on some on highway. the FC we are talking abt is 100% city drive.

seems that most NHC driver can get better mileage compare to me.. between, i using the stock e spec... no modification at all...

i will ask the honda people to reset the ECU then...kinda poor FC for normal driving in the city for me..
*

i think what he mean is, his insurance going to expired and plan to include windscreen insurance.. for windscreen, it bttr for u not to bring ur car to the agent.. nanti u cannot apply windscreen as it already cracked.. so need for another 2 months after date u insured ur windscreen, go and claim for new windscreen..  rclxm9.gif
*
ya la. that's why i said he nvr insured the windscreen before that, and that's why i wonder how come need to wait then can claim. now got problem with windscreen already then he insure, of course the insurance company knows this trick for ppl la. actually quite cunning tongue.gif

rm2500, which u need to rm300 per year for insurance coverage..
how come need to insure so much? rm2500? NHC windscreen so expensive? this amount u take into the consideration of all the windscreen (front, rear and side) and probably plus labour rite? else i dun think so expensive will it cost for the repair.
so rm2500 u actually cover every possible damage of the glass except side mirrors.

or u counted the cost of the replacement of tint inside, so insure so much?

besides, if insured rm2500, u need to pay rm375, not rm300 becos u need to pay 15% of the insured amount.

last year, my SA told me to insure rm1k which i paid rm150. I just renewed my insurance but i nvr include the windscreen coverage, but after thinking for a nite, feel that safer to include, so just now when i went to collect my new roadtax, i asked them to help to include again.

i asked my dealer lady who in charge of the insurance one she advised to insure rm1k, so i paid rm150 only. it is the cost of the front windscreen only (i think it is the most expensive one among all as well as the most highly chance will get damage one?).

i think in most case, maybe won't be so jialat that all the windscreen glass break together rite? so i think it should be enough. tongue.gif better than nvr insure at all.

and fyi, quote from Honda SC for the back windscreen complete parts with labour is 950++

so a rough estimate on how much u need to insure

anyone knows how much for front and sides?
*
yup rm225 is rm1500 insured.

ya i was told by the clerk who do the insurance that the front windscreen cost rm1k. so i was asked to insured rm1k.

i think in most car won't be so bad luck all windscreen broken at the same time. so rm1k should be enough. rclxms.gif

front is rm1k which i was told by clerk when i renewed the insurance. last year my SA advised me to insure the same amount. think should be sufficient. tongue.gif

god bless last year i have no claim at all for windscreen even covered. haha

side i believe must be cheaper than either front or rear. in any case, rm1k should be sufficient to cover either one part of windscreen unless u so bad luck that all broken at the same time. then makan diri for the excess tongue.gif

It is always own preference, i dont fancy other colours like grey, silver or black ... look like average colour cars you can see it anywhere. Boring and dull to me  laugh.gif

Gold seems ok though, at least looks more interesting compared to the boring colours. But that is just my own preference though.
*
that one i believe it is not considered gold colour, it is a nice brown color which i want to get last time, but when i get my NHC time, already no more production for the color. tongue.gif

that's the nice color. seriously the blue color in NHC not very appealing. other honda model blue color nicer. tongue.gif

that one is not considered gold color, if it is like the gold color on accord etc it is indeed uncle. but the brown look color on NHC is actually quite special and nice. biggrin.gif

Hi guys,

I just knew this few minutes ago. Need help to be on lookout for Honda City (NHC) Black colour plate no KCT7890 as it was stolen at Kota Kemuning in between 3pm-6pm, 12 May 2011. This is my friend's car. Whoever found can contact me or call at 0124668001. Please inform your other friends as well. I pity him.... haizzz thieves nowadays...make me really worried
*
all the best on finding.

recently looks like NHC has been a hot target for thieves.

i am glad that i had equiped my NHC with double layer of proctections
1) Locktech pedal lcok
2) Cobra Connex Vehicle Tracking Alarm System
which gives me a peace of mind even I park my car outside.

It doesn't matter what security items that you installed in your car. If the thieves main target is your car , there is no way that your car will not be in their hands. Perhaps by installling all this , it will cause the thieves to take a longer time to break into your car.
*
this is always the excuse given by ppl who are not willing to spend extra on security stuff. tongue.gif

and cry only when car kena stolen. cry.gif

there is no 100% security measure in the world, but it does not mean u should be pessimistic and do nothing. sweat.gif

yeah, those who car rubber still around, u better take it off if u dun want to get stolen.
at car park i actually go around and see. many city nuts rubber not there. not sure it is really get stolen or they keep it.

i even kept my antenna now. and out of my suprise, without the antenna, not much impact on the signal of the radio channel. still can listen them clearly. icon_idea.gif

alternatively next time can purposely put the sxphxric acxd on it. when the thielf tries to steal it. hehe. rclxm9.gif

or put the ixchy powdxr on it. rclxm9.gif

Yea, you can remove the caps but the screws will get rusty caused by rain or car wash water which may slip from the screw head and flow thru' the screw thread. Make sure you put a drop of candle wax on top the screw head to seal it. That's the purpose of the rubber caps are there for.
Just my 2 cents.  icon_rolleyes.gif
*
of course the purpose of the cap is known. but it is known that it will be stolen, what's the pt of putting there?

sweat.gif

i dun worry abt the screw actually. i dun think the screw it that expensive also.

after my cap kena stolen, it already has some rust. makes no difference already.
