tg xavi. thank god, my Jojo doesnt have that symptom. How do you treat lice problem? i dont find any syampoo for treating lice dedicated for gp but there's a lot (dangerous for gp) for cat and dog or you bring to vet?

Actually at first I want to see vet, but i found in internet that some people use olive oil to treat lice and flea. I tried baby oil instead of olive oil (cause i think baby oil is milder than olive oil).

Is there any vaccin or injection for guinea pig like vaccin for dog and cat?

Eventhough I am very new to guinea pig (just 1 month) but i love guinea pig so much than my fish and hamster. Holding guinea pig like holding a baby and you can feel its scare, comfort and appealing feeling. I hope i can live happily with my gp.    (If my wife read this sure i got scolded). Anyway, I am the proud owner of guinea pig

Actualy i came to ask some advice. I saw on previous post at here saying some1 using the baby oil to put on the pigie to remove mites. Can i do it to my pigie too?

yes u can.. but it wont go away straight de.. as the baby oil jus make the fur soft and oily so the mites or flea cant get a grip and fall off when the piggy shake shake.. it wont kill them.. tea tree oil will hinder them though.. a nice warm vinegar + water bath will rinse off the mites after few application.. 

Wah..you got 14 GPs?  Show us their picture then? All imported breeds?

I hate vinegar smell...I had tried Neem Oil soap bar to bath them.  It's pretty cheap only less than RM2 per bar (imported from India).  I bath this soap on my dog, and can see the dog tick pengsan and died.  I also use this to bath my GPs.  The only problem is for long fur GP, after bathing with this soap, the fur is very harsh to manage.  Unless you use another round of conditional shampoo to bath it again and rinse off.

actually normally i use vinegar to treat them.. But u will  need to use it a couple of time.. Jus bath them with warm water, and johnson baby shampoo and then rinse liao soak them in a container containing vinegar + warm water solution.. The ratio is 50:50 then slowly drop to 10:50

For shoot, yes there is , ivermetin or revolution for cat is normally use but u need to noe the dosage lor.. Ivermetin is injection type while revolution is application type..
Shampoo for flea and mites.. Got la.. Jus go to pet shop.. Those shampoo for rabit or cat can be use
