Anyone neutered/ spayed their guinea pigs before? im thinking to neuter my female/male guinea pig. My female GP just gave birth to 2 litters and it is heart broken for me to separate the pair permanently as they are so attached and i want to keep them togather.( i do not want to breed my pair of GP)

Anyone know the price?

Hi guys..i have a question...if you notice the picture of my lil kookie..theres a patch behind his ear which has no fur...is that normal?im worried that it might be mites..><...and i see alot of reddish things on his fur..but its doesnt move..yesterday i used olive oil to clean them abit..but still got alot..=(

the missing patch of fur behind GP's ears are normal, all GPs are like tat

the reddish thing might just be some dust as u said it doesnt move, so nothing to worry bout. If it does move den got mites problem take a nice bath for ur GP and see if the reddish stuffs goes away

bald part at the ear there is normal.
The reddish stuff u speak of is it small dot type which exist in quite a number near the tip of each hair? If so tat is mites( give it a warm dilute vinegar bath) <- tis require a few times of application only gone de so patient... After bath dry in and use baby johnson talcum on the fur and comb it off using a mites comb

no .. Not really.. U only need to separate them after the female gave birth..

ya...its like reddish dots on the tip of the hair...if it doesnt move also mites?i just bathed my piggies yesterday..and they macam traumatized..and im scared if bathe them too often they get cold...so how long should i wait before giving them a bath again??

can anyone tell me this GP is male or female? I can't determine this...@@
