go to your Connectivity > USB... which 'USB connection mode' you were using? try set it to 'PC Suite' mode and use latest Ovi software to update it via PC...

send for warranty... might be lcd failure or gpu failure due to low temperature...
otherwise, u can try blow ur phone with hair dryer for few minutes (maybe 1~2), and see the result...(this method work, referring to other forumer but forgot which thread dy)

yeah, as i said previously, the Ovi Maps is being updated and getting more POI (although it still lag of new roads and POIs)...
maybe everyone can contribute and help update their map at Ovi Maps website...

try googling for it using keyword, shouldn't be difficult to find those...

you will see your software version 3.0x, and the next line is the map version

how about format your memory card using card reader and put it back into ur phone, and try boot it up...

u rely on the phone for time accuracy? and u said a minute late to work because the phone went out of sync for a minute slower... mean that u always reach office on time sharp? why shouldn't u wake earlier and reach office earlier?

then you were the 1/100 unlucky one here... doesn't happen to my tube...

for question 2, you can make your music player scan certain folders only by using '101FFCD2' mod... You can download this mod here :
 101FFCD2.zip ( 439bytes ) Number of downloads: 2


- right after you download that, edit that file using notepad where :-

>> 0x4 string - folder that shouldn't be read/scan (music player will bypass this folders)

- you need to put this '101FFCD2.txt' to your phone "C:\Private\10202be9\" folder (phone need to hack 1st and unlock system folder using RomPatcher)
- then restart your phone
- make sure you refresh your music library once before playback else it will play all the music files in your phone and memory card

>Keep Aspect Ratio = YES
>Bitrate(kbps) = 2500
>Frame Rate = 29.97

Audio Setting
>Audio Codec = AAC
>Channel = Stereo
>Bitrate(kbps) = 192
>Sample Rate(Hz) = 48000
>Volume(%) = 100

these settings work perfect and no lag at all

when your phone is in locked mode, to answer or stop alarm, we should slide it (not push/touch)
push/touch only function during phone unlocked...

restart your phone then... sometime restart might solve our problem

FW is fixed, just reinstall your software and need to re-setting everything

go to Contacts > Options > Settings
make sure Contacts to display is SIM only...
then mark all and delete all of it... make sure you have already copy all of it into ur phone memory and backed up everything...

sorry... it's phone memory

btw, i'm not really clear bout ur question here, you gonna ask about where to backup ur contacts izzit?

turn off your phone
then, hold (green+red+camera) button together while turning on your phone... do hold it until the welcome or pin request screen appear... i think doesn't need to wait for that hard reset... once ur phone started, it will show you first welcome screen...(just like new phone startup)
