How do I transfer all my phone contacts from SonyErisson to 5800XM? I can't seen to do it with the Ovi suite.

Nope wont lost it will load back from memory card. Even if its lost access your memory card and run back the installer. Thats all everything will still be there

anyone encounter problem with the wifi???
mine can detect wifi's and connect to it but cant surf any website at all. even my modem's setup page

Is your wifi having any security such as WPA/WEP protection? Try disabling and try again

i got same prob like u..just restart the phone..then can use normaly..

From what I experienced last time... right after i formatted my mem card and reinstall garmix XT and recopy back all my map files, its still working and the status is registered

as long as its the same phone it will be alright. If u copy the garmin folder to another phone it wont work because different IMEI

i tot garmin sees the memory card serial number not d phone imei?

is there any solutions for ringing tone that ring half way and then when off?

yes but i tried with normal wifi (mcd/adhoc and some other wifi with internet access ) still cant get trhu the internet

also mine is already out of warranty. how much would nc charge for service??

ring half way can be two possibility

1) Your ringtones is cut short?

2) Your telco limitation is 20 -25 sec only. Call you telco disable and it will continue ringing

can ask telco to cancel the limit? then the ringtone will just rang non stop wor...untill the ppl put down the call?

Can means no voice mail. There will be a limit too maybe 2 or 3mins then it will cut off too

hi there...wanna share with u guys something....this problem tat im having with my XM5800...after i install garmin, my phone gonna get restart problem...meaning tat i have to remove the mem card 1st in order to turn on my phone....after many2 experiment and after about 36 time formating my phone and the mem card....finally i got the cure....wait for it...the bloody themes effect....just turn it off and all the bloody restart problem gone...now i can turn on/off my phone without having to remove the memcard 1st...but 1 thing i wonder why nokia never fix this bug and what does theme effect got anything to do with garmin...

anyone having this restart problem can try to disable their theme effect...just go to setting>personal>theme>general>select your current themes>option>theme effect>off...ur done...hope i this help..

Actually ure one of the first having the theme problem effect bug. Mine effect on but do not have shut down problem. I have start up problem and i solve it by reformating my memory card

just now, i install the new firmware but hp unable to start..end up do hard reset.. so far, i can feel the difference where in term of the performance..
