Hi! just got the game recently. Was a hardcore MH fan since MH 1.

Tried online to join u all but it cant seem to connect. asked me to update my wii.
mine is a modified one. although my discs are all original. i scared shit might happen to my wii if i update it. lol. any suggestions?


oh ya, i'm stucked at getting the ancient mask for my cha-cha. sharqskin is so freaking hard to get. GRRR...

Is your problem using an 'overpowered weapon' (since you are almost close to completing the offline) ? Try using the initially supplied iron sword and do ONE unsheathe attack and then harpoon. That should give you a sharq to carve and hopefully get your sharqskins.

bring the Fluffy cha-cha with Gatherer ability too for that extra "probability" ... but yeah, don't kill the sharq by weapon ... do it by Harpoon. a few pokes from Mega Harpoon may even kill it without first hitting with a weapon.

on a sidenote, the False Felyne cha-cha is DA BOMB man ... especially when facing Lagia in water. bombs away !

you know what... we should really stop thanking nyx everytime she heals us/saves our sorry arse. She already knows we are grateful and to be honest, no token female character ever gets thanked.

seriously we should, cause the other day I was busy typing thanks (well... actually being me it was a tad longer than that ) after a heal but stupid deviljoe did not understand what a time-out meant, and proceeded to squash poor old me.

well, i am poor enough to actually have to stick a gigi on my bowgun as a barrel. honest

I was too excited and scared facing Alatreon... brought all the bombs, scatterfish & potions, forgot to bring cool drinks/chilled meat
Luckily I had mega dash juice to run around but my hp bar was constantly going down LOL.

As for joe, I felt n-a-k-e-d using Hammer both Nik & Pawaka were poking it with lances.
Only time I hammered Joe when he actually ate our meats AND he left alot of leftovers!

with joe methinks two or three baits enough d. he won't eat all.
