G700 without battery, n using cable is not very nice as the wire is quite stiff. will be a bit of hindrance to freedom of movement

Get a mouse bungee will help.

the best thing compare G500 to DA i think is the razer logo existence.

somehow this mouse is love at first sight to me.. i'm sold to the 13 buttons..

i have been reading on the G700 on the net... somehow few months ago got ppl complain about the minute movement of the mouse not picking up signal if on wireless.. but then it was reported resolved with a new driver... but also got ppl said the driver just reduced the problem and doesn't solve it..

any G700 user out there encounter the issue? is it rili that bad or just some user being fussy..

I went to logitech retail shop in midvalley.. but they don't have any demo unit for G500 and G700 sigh...

For FPS, i played, COD Black Ops, MW2, Battlefield, and Fable2,3. for me, because this is quite subjective, i find it very comfortable after long hours of gaming. and it is accurate too; wired or wireless.
and for RTS, i played SC2 and Warcraft 3, does DOta counts? hmm.gif nothing to complain about. 6 hours straight gaming also no problem.
The only thing is with its stock battery, u can get around 8 hours of gaming before it died on u. oh, one more thing, the side texture (like sandpaper one) it feels nice on ur hands. tongue.gif for extra grip i guess
heavy? it is heavier than my previous MX518 and Pyra wireless, but it isnt that heavy which will hinder u from enjoying ur game. but, thats just me biggrin.gif

Some problems that you mentioned are existing, but no big deal actually, some more its battery life is not bad compared to other wireless gaming mouse like Mamba.
Some body complaint about the shape as well. The mouse is ergonomic but some 1 said the shape is too steep change (i means maybe somebody don like the curving shape )

Razer Lachesis is great for me. I like the shape so much. But most people will definitely hate the shape and feel uncomfortable

what? sorry but i dont understand your sentence.

are you asking that if you're using claw on abyssus, its wrong to change to palm grip on the DA?

regardless, there is no right or wrong when it comes to gripping the mice, the most natural way for you is always the most comfortable, comfortable = play better.

heck you can even use your feet to grip the mice if you like it.

But if this case happen to me, why not I get another ambidextrous mouse? G700 seems like better for palm or semi palm gripper.

Semi-claw grip. For the first time you hold it, your ring finger will felt uncomfortable, but after a longer time usage, i will felt uncomfortable on using back to my Mamba. LOL

DA is palm grip. For claw grip person, Abyssus is good but it is very light. Not really good for FPS games (trust me i've used 4 different mices before.)

If you want comfort, you can try Ikari laser or optical. DA is good but it's getting old already. I've used ikari laser for couple of months and i figured that it is a good mouse actually.

But if you like all rounder, go for Xai. Ambi grip. Perfect gaming mice. my current baby thumbup.gif
