For me Rm10 and RM100 makes a hell lots of differences but Rm100 and Rm400 would not differ too much
at the end the one who suits u owns.
By the way does mousing surface fits here?
I am looking for another cheap cloth mouse surface, using Everglide Monster Mad, superb but the top layer is starting to peel off, is there any special adhesive to put them together?
*
Expecting what size? If want replace with another big sized mouse mat I don't think it will be cheap, Goliathus is 1 of the good choice.

cheapest 'big size' gaming mouse to  reccommend anyone? currently using gigabyte lazer(cheap tongue.gif) and looking to upgrade
*
Since you mentioned cheapest big sized, I agree with them, MX518 will be the best choice with some extra button and quite comfortable ergonomic mouse.

Can consider the ROCCAT Taito Kingsize. Other options will be Goliathus Alpha from Razer and QcK+ series from SteelSeries.
*
Haha You missed out something, he asking for mouse, not mouse pad.

pls recommend me a mouse .. erm budget abt 50+
how abt powerlogic gmx-1 and gmx-5 ? anyone have experience with those before?
*
I will try the best to get logitech MX518 or Steelseries Kinzu OEM pack instead of powerlogic 1.
As what i known, the labeled powerlogic mouse with lot feature and quite lots of gimmick. Kinzu and MX518 have much more better built quality and sensing power.
The price are consider affordable for your budget as well.

my Deathadder (1st gen) left button clicking spoilt after just 2 years. so now i'm considering a new mouse.. don't think i get Razor again..

considering between G500 or G700.

anyone know which one is the lighter.. there is no weight info on logitech website.

i'm more of a claw-grip user and prefer a lighter mouse.. the Deathadder over the years forced me to become semi palm-grip and tolerance on heavier mouse. but still i think the size and weight of Deathadder will be my maximum.

so which one is heavier..

1. Deathadder
2. G500 - with all weight units removed and even the weight holding tray removed
3. G700 - with the battery removed (can it functions without a battery but on wired mode)

thanks..
*
Kinzu?? Roccat Kova? or maybe Xai. Since your are claw gripper, I think Xai is your best choice.

G700 without battery, n using cable is not very nice as the wire is quite stiff. will be a bit of hindrance to freedom of movement

Get a mouse bungee will help.

the best thing compare G500 to DA i think is the razer logo existence.

the glowing logo make it hot, thats why I always off the light.

somehow this mouse is love at first sight to me.. i'm sold to the 13 buttons..

i have been reading on the G700 on the net... somehow few months ago got ppl complain about the minute movement of the mouse not picking up signal if on wireless.. but then it was reported resolved with a new driver... but also got ppl said the driver just reduced the problem and doesn't solve it..

any G700 user out there encounter the issue? is it rili that bad or just some user being fussy..

I went to logitech retail shop in midvalley.. but they don't have any demo unit for G500 and G700 sigh...
*
Some problems that you mentioned are existing, but no big deal actually, some more its battery life is not bad compared to other wireless gaming mouse like Mamba.
Some body complaint about the shape as well. The mouse is ergonomic but some 1 said the shape is too steep change (i means maybe somebody don like the curving shape )

I do encounter the issue, but it is not a very issue for me and it doesn't always happen.
I can actually claw grip my G700, not a big problem i guess. Previous mouse was Razer Copperhead lol.
*
But if this case happen to me, why not I get another ambidextrous mouse? G700 seems like better for palm or semi palm gripper.

Razer Lachesis is great for me. I like the shape so much. But most people will definitely hate the shape and feel uncomfortable

yea true, wondering how you grip your lachesis.

Are you claw grip it?? only holding the back small part??

Semi-claw grip. For the first time you hold it, your ring finger will felt uncomfortable, but after a longer time usage, i will felt uncomfortable on using back to my Mamba. LOL
*
Last time I am lachesis user as well, but cant get used to it even after half year usage. Then bought my 1st Ikari laser and now replaced the old 1 with another Ikari laser, still prefer ergonomic 1.

However, lot people given very good feedback for Copperhead, but I still think Lachesis is more comfortable than Copperhead even though I feel it is not comfortable ^^

*
Unnecessary, depends how you grip it, overall yes, but I think lot here semi claw palm grip it. (and feel like claw grip it having better vertical motion.)

for abyssus you need to pair it with goliathus speed to get the better performance of the sensor otherwise it will jitter. shape-wise is subjective. not everyone is comfortable with the shape but it may be different in your case.
*
Really?? First time heard Abyssus must pair with Goliathus.

you may not notice the jittery if you pair the abyssus with qck+ for example but compared to pairing it with golitahus speed the sensor performs smoother.
*
Don't know about that, since not a Abyssus owner here.
But I think if pair it with any hard mat should solve the jitter issue.

*
It "can" be used by left hander as well. Thats ambidextrous mouse.
Those mouse cant used by right hander is something like Left hander's version of Deathadder, left hand ergonomic.

dear mouse user , how you clean/maintain your mouse from dust ? i found it hard the clean especially the cleavage around the roller .

dun wan my imperator damage by dust  sweat.gif
*
Imperator with rubber coating is cant be clean by Cyberclean or any tools with moisture, the best way is microfibre cloth, clean it slowly and keep your hand dry and clean is best way to prevent it from dirty.

For those unreachable space, maybe can clean by using needle, or even open the casing of the mouse if you dare (better don't if not sure how to dissemble and reassemble it)

*
His Imperator is newer than your Xai? Downgrading your mouse?

If comfortable with the Xai then no point to do such trading unless you prefer Imperator's ergonomic.

I would suggest the Steelseries Ikari Laser for any form of palm grip gaming! It carresses your palm regardless of what size your palm is!

Love at first touch <3 hohohoho.
*
Ikari supporting very wide palm, somebody with long palm and long finger will prefer DA which with higher hump to rest their whole palm on it properly.

open the casing seems impossible , i can't find any detachable part . its a solid mouse  rclxub.gif

any guide how to open the casing ?
*
Cyber clean only can use for the base of the mouse which is plastic glossy material.
Not only cyberclean, moisture making the rubber become sticky after some time (this happened to my old Ikari and DA), so better keep hand dry, taking break to clean hand between gaming session ^^

actually i wont mind to downgrade.. i do not hv firmware prob atm.. btw wats the prob anyway? quite outdated, tight schedule ds sem cry.gif
got tried my frens DA b4, i felt DA better than older version of lachesis in term of grapping feelings... i felt more comfortable  in DA..
still cant figure out, go for xai or imperator rclxub.gif  as my frens waiting to exchange it huhu ... hope can get the nice guide n tips from sifu-sifu here notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif  TQ
*
Your tinker mostly dagger dagon?? Don't depends too much on mouse side button, may just 1 thumb button will do, other item leave it to keyboard will be better. Too much depends on the side button may affect your movement accuracy.

Ikari shape is the nicest shape for me without adjust any thing. By using saitek, can't get a most comfort shape after tons of adjustment.

Imperator feels bigger than Xai cos it has a bigger butt.
best thing to obviously do is to go try the imperator see if it fits.
xai firmware? LOL biggrin.gif
more than 1 friggin year ago was the last update.
anyway, xai isnt 100% perfect, but imo its the best of the ambidextrous choices out there...until a new copperhead comes out...think ppl sick of hearing me say that biggrin.gif
*
Maybe next Razer mouse come out is CopperTAIL with Xai's standard spec, Copperhead shape and even better tracking power and accuracy.

1 of the most comfortable mouse to use among all Razer's design, I think epic version with different size side panel to exchange to fit different hand size.

Solid mouse, but for me the thumb button are too tough and difficult to fully utilize.

If you are MMO player and it fit your palm nice, yea, it is highly recommended.

Depends on what you expect.

Brand? Blink? Extra macro button? Performance (consistency, accuracy)?

Cheapest option, logitech MX518, solid mouse, quite good comments from most of user, durable. <RM100.
