Just got The Sims 3 Ambitions Commemorative Edition.. biggrin.gif

I don't know which profession I should choose, so I think it's better for me to be as an inventor first, but something bad happened when I try to invent something..

its pretty rare, but it does happened. you need to meddle with the past when meeting "familiar faces" i think.

Is it a vanilla installation: meaning no traces of mods whatsoever? remove all your mods then try again

If you play with awesome mod in the hood before, even though you removed it, you must not open the hood until awesome is updated and replaced. The same goes to other core mods. Just start a new hood to play meanwhile waiting, if thats the case.

Try this solution:

I had game crashes as well after installin ambitions which never happen to me before. But solved my problem after using that program. smile.gif

Detonate the junkyard lot sure is good..
Funny that people in that lot just got 'bombed' and they act like they don't even care about what just happened. Even the furniture inside the building and cars that parked outside also got blown into the pieces

Wow, emino. How long will it take to build a Time Machine? Very interesting indeed! My current Sim's wife is polishing her inventing skills.

Time Machine should be around inventing skill level 8 or 9.

Although THAT particular time machine was bought from the consignment shop. LOL

Pro tip: ALWAYS go to consignment shop. Their items rotated every day and sometimes they sells pretty cheap!
Another tip: If you saw Pink Diamond or Paladium, GET IT! You'll need it if you're an inventor. Trust me.

i dunno about u guys...but to me Sims Ambition feels like Sims Open For Business. where u're given the chance to do something repeatedly (by creating products or providing services) and earn simoleans from it...

ohh...now i realized why no one choose to be stylist or architect...too cumbersome...

Just want to ask.

I'm planning to buy Sims 3 Ambitions next month.

But at the same time after previous trauma with pirated copy, I guess I gonna grab World Adventure and Sims 3 Collector's pack too. tongue.gif biggrin.gif

I already checked at pcgames.com.my, TSB's website, youbeli.com and EA Store SG.

Seems they didn't have a bundle pack (3 in 1) box.

Which is more cheaper? Buying retail version or digital version?

And if I buy through EA Store, does EA Download Manager have some problem since I'm only using 512kbps Streamyx and downloading those three at the same time will gonna take AGES.

Can I burn those digital copy into DVD later?

and... is those SimPoints are worthy to purchase? if yes, how much should I buy? unsure.gif

Sorry if I'm asking such a noob question. tongue.gif

Buy retail. Digital has been very troublesome. EA Store is not as efficient as steam I guess.
