i dont think we should fix whats not broken. if we're more comfortable with the 433, i dont see any need to switch to the diamond formation again. to be honest it never really worked anyways. 433 with the french trident of flomo, nico and gael up front. WEEEE!
*
It worked well for in the beginning of last double historic season. But well, yeah, since 433 worked well, I doubt there will be any changes on the system. Well, hopefully Kakuta get a nod to start the match. But Kalou is in scoring form, although in a funny way smile.gif

How about this, if we draw 0-0 at 80 mins, straight away put Kalou, sure score. rclxms.gif

we still can win w/o malouda n lampard. hehe ;p

We will need them against the big guns later, especially next weekend and the weekend after. Travel to Eastland and after that hosting the Gunners.

KTBFH yo!

LOL..

But other teams started to drop point already. This shouldnt be taken lightly and our players need to avoid complacency. We need to grab full point ahead of our next schedule, against City and Arsenal.

A new third kit.. great.. But the design is too simple.. But love the UCL NN.. Retro feel for me. Going to get the third one, but havent decide NN just yet.

At the moment, our youth shown some promising lads. I believe, that's the reason why we dont need to spend big anymore. We already have the base/foundation of a team. Maybe 1-2 buy just to complete the puzzle will do.

Maybe superstitious ? Last time ppl predict and things got ugly real life on field perhaps ? I would understand things like that. I hv my own superstitious things that I do or not do with regards to Chelsea.

Is it the one you cant watch HD?

QUOTE(Ichighost @ Sep 19 2010, 03:13 PM)
Our number 5's strength and stamina is famous throughout world football and Ancelotti values a physical presence in the middle of the park, although he will not exclude Essien from the current round of squad rotation.

'I think he needs to rest because he was involved in all the games and he will have a rest, maybe next week' by Carlo..

Wow..bold decision Carlo..rest Essien against MC..rest him tonight..Mikel-Benayoun-Ramires can deal with Blackpool..I sense leaking in the back 4 tonight..hmm hopefully not...
*
Maybe against Newcastle in Carling cup. But well, normally we field our youngster + reserve players during this cup. So, Kakuta, Josh and Aanholt will be given some playing time.

Anyway, I dont think CA going to rest Essien tonight, not after his performance for the past 2 games. He is well known of his energy, box-to-box midfielder. He'll definitely play. So now, its either Ramires or Benny, but I do think Ramires going to start. Reason being, Benny is off for 2 days if I am not mistaken, he missed the build up training session. He might play in 2nd half though.

1 change for sure would be Paolo. He's in form, and he was rested last midweek.

i wonder if the carling cup will be on Astro?

Until this very moment, no.

Only 1 live telecast available:
Carling Cup 2010/11
22/09 3rd Round: Tottenham Hotspur vs Arsenal at 0240 (Live)

But that might change though

really admire chelsea's rotation policy now..like Kerplunk mentioned, we used to rely too much on Lampard, JT n Drogba those days..now, we can even put three youngsters in CL fixture n still got a result..I reckon mikel will got in the PFA team of the year..i hope so
*
If he keep up performing like this, he will, eventually.

He's the current top passer in EPL. At least before our last game with 96% completion. He usually play a short and safe pass, but he did some of those long through ball as well.

City is definitely stronger this season with the addition of barca's toure. the boys will definitely go into this game for revenge for two losses last season. joe hart also was a problem when we played birmingham last season so it might be quite hard to break down their defense. i just hope we dont get hit on the counter too much like last season.

on another note, hilario is injured so it looks like its time for turnbull to show us what he's got in the carling cup.
*
They are not really consistent I would say. Sometimes they played very very well, and sometimes, they dont. I wish they would perform this weekend, so that we can really test our firepower. An interesting match + 3 points is my wish for this weekend.

Most probably the media doesnt know much about United's history.

Actually the term man u is referring to the Munich incident. Kind of insult to them.

The only positive I can take from this game is Josh.

Kakuta : Good game, he could do better.
Anelka : As usual, vital in our attack with his pace and technique. Should have scored 3 goals. Cool PK
Ramires : Steamroll everything. Keep on running till the end of the game. Good energy. Our bulldozer. Now we have Bison, Bison Jr and Bulldozer.
Yuri : Timing his run very well, but always picked the wrong pass.
Sturridge : I didnt even notice him on the field! Worst player of the night.
Aanholt : Good pace, great pass. But he lost his marker for the first goal.

Paolo : Stupid mistake. Yet again prove that when he's performed, he's damn good. But when he is not, he sucks real hard!
Bruma : Solid at the back, but his passes going astray most of the time.
Turnbull : Why the hell he's not guarding the far post on Taylor's FK?

Josh : Our future! I see Zidane + Pirlo in him.

Same here. The last 15 minutes, my eyes really stick to the screen.

Anyway, Man City lost too. But well, they didnt field any of their first team player. Expect a fresh City challenge this Saturday. I'd say, bring em on
