For those who missed the game yesterday, do catch it on the replay especially during second half to see how good is McEachran play. He basically plays like super junior Lampard. biggrin.gif Go pass defenders like nobody's business, had two shots but can't convert. He and van annholt are definitely being rated highly after yesterday's performance! flex.gif Would like to see both of them and Bruma getting their chances to shine in BPL, FA or CL. biggrin.gif
After couple of goal galore matches, I'm more than willing to settle any games with one goal too. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

I wouldnt say he's Lampard mould. He would be more technical player, the like of Zidane. You can see from the way he dribble, twist and turn. He didnt let the ball far away from his feet, making enemies hard to tackle him without conceding any foul. No flashy move, crossover, elastico, although I believe he's capable of that. Just that he's not a show off person. Would definitely a new born Zidane to me.

He's just 17. So far, he has won FA Youth Cup and Euro U17.

I believe he's now in England U19.

Apa daa. kat arsenal kalau dah 23 sama cam 32 kat chelsea  tongue.gif he was 16 back then. but i think, we shouldnt put a pressure too much at Josh. let him grow and learn more. another star in the making.

any highlight on how Kaku and Ramires performance?
*
I do have the full game, but at the moment, I dont have time to cut the video. Will update it a bit later.

QUOTE(hidzwan @ Sep 23 2010, 10:35 PM)
i think Josh and Wilshere hv identical style of play, both left footed tho..but Wilshere yet to shine himself in the Premier League due to his physicality i reckon..Same as Josh, i think he need to build some muscle..maybe he can  take extra class and learn a lot from Bison + Mikelele..ooh btw, Ramires are required to attend too biggrin.gif
*
If you watch his performance yesterday, he's like kuda you know. Keep running till final whistle. And he steamroll every opponents. That's why I call him bulldozer! You datang rapat, you kene steamroll.

On Josh vs Wilshere, I reckon they are different type. Wilshere is the one who use his ability to change his pace to dribble across defenders while Josh on the other hand, more like keep the ball close to his feet. Opponent make a tackle, then fault.

Wilshere would suit more on the flank while Josh would develop into some deep play maker role.

Both of them are good.

I saw Josh McEachran played last night and I was impressed. Composed, confident and looked every bit ready for first team action. Arsene Wenger would have loaned out a player like this so that he could get regular first team actions. You guys could be seeing more of him had Chelsea not crash out of the CC I'm sure.
*
I think CA has a plan for him this season. Actually the hype started earlier this year when he helped Chelsea won the FA youth cup and then helped England won the Euro U17.

I believe we will see more of him after yesterday fantastic performance. I really hope that he isnt going to be a brat!

I hope Ramires play. We dont need anymore firepower, since we got enoguh already. Combination of Flomo-Drogs-Anelka should do the job. On defense, Ramires is the one who can break their play. Just like Bommel in Netherland team.

Someone who doesnt know penat.. Run all the way till the last whistle. The only problem with Ramires, he need more time to adapt to our team. Sometimes, he forgot to close down, just like the goal vs West Ham and the first goal vs Newcastle.

We got enough energy in the midfield to break the game play. City normally dangerous during the break. Need to be aware on their counter attack. Given Ramires and Essien energy, I dont think we are going to have any problem track back once our attack break off.

Essien performance is below par. Ramires keep on falling. We need to control the midfield.

yes, i think due to the paste of the city players, CA learn it from last 2 games...

i know the blues always have problems playing with big teams, not always a sure win, compare to JM style...

Not really. We won all games against Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool last season.

We are having problem with team that play good counter attacking football.

Semua org main jawap quiz.. ok nak jawap jugak laa..

1 - In place of Ramires, yes. In place of Flomo, a big NO.

2 - Its either Josh or Zhirkov going to start. But I believe, it would be Zhirkov. We are truly lacking of creativity up front, and I believe Josh is our missing puzzle. The only concern is whether he can keep his composure when given a chance to start a match as big as UCL. Imagine this, u are the youngest player ever played for UCL history, and you start the match. Imagine from the dressing room to the field, to the introduction of the team, to the coin toss to the kick off. How would he felt? Nervous, right?

3 - Yes.

4 - NO. His attitude will cause problem in the team.

He already did sub in to replace in UCL. Yes it's too early to judge his ability but I think he deserves a start after two promising sub in. Plus, we're really lacking creativity up front and no one actually pass the ball, mingle around our opponent's side. I wouldn't say McEachran is our key to replace Lampard when he retires, but I also don't want to cancel out this option either. tongue.gif He did show some promising movements especially against City. I certainly hope to see him as starting 11 against Marseille

Sub and start the match, the pressure level is different.

I believe every chelsea fans love him right now.

I impressed with him since last year. During the FA youth cup semi final. I was like, who's this fella, a drug addict looking with silky movement. Then he did 360, and I was like, shootttt, is this zidane or what! drool.gif

damn i missed like wut, 4-5 pages and feel reluctant to read back..tongue.gif

4 Questions

1 - Should Zhirkov start against Marseille ahead of Malouda?
no..Malouda were doing decent job recently.

2 - Should Josh start against Marseille ahead of Ramires?
No. I think Zhirkov shud start ahead of Ramires.

3 - Should Bosingwa given minutes against Marseille?
Yes.

4 - Should we buy Neymar?
Absolutely no. why this question was ask in the 1st place biggrin.gif
Me and my dad agreed on one thing, Ramires have the skills, but he need to build some muscle first and strengthen his body..he fall almost as much as Nani dives..and thats was something not to be proud of..
*
Indeed Ramires did. Watch him quite a few time during his Benfica time, and I have to say, he can samba. He might need times to adapt to EPL, since EPL, tackles flying around every seconds.

QUOTE(madfag @ Sep 27 2010, 09:29 AM)
have you guys seen benny's body? he is practically a stick! he must be starving at liverpool for goodness sake. hopefully the Chelsea physios will buff him up a little.
*
Hahaha.. But still, he can drift between players.

Its okla, that's football. Sometime the ref is on our side, sometime he's not. Normal in football, I would say.

Fancy to create your own chants?
