Mou is Mou.. I am thankful for all the players and the trophy that he brought to SW6. How much arrogant he is, he got all the trophy to back him...

Brana is out for 6 weeks.. Hmm.. with Paolo not consistent and having problem to deal with pacey winger, I afraid he might be having problem for our next trip to Eastland which is in 4 weeks time. With tricky Johnson adn speedy Wright-Phillips, I truly afraid they are going to skin Paolo alive, just like Bale did last year. And looking at his performance against Stoke, I truly afradi this.
Hopefully Bos can gain his full fitness by then. After Eastland we are going to have Marseille and Arsenal at home, before travelling to Villa Park.. This would be the time to see our true potential.

That would be another option, but still, I am expecting Bos to get fully fit.. Then we can have goals galore from right and left.. Currently, only from our left.. tongue.gif

Anyway, here I present you, Mikelele

:drool

Another better resolution, but without any slow mo like flo mo yo!

If you watch him during his loan spell at Blackburn last season, you can see that he didnt really contribute much. Only 1 goal I believe. And he's dropped down to Sturridge in our Youth Striker pecking order. Let's move on to Borini, shall we?

It just happened that all our strikers hit their top form after reached 30. Even Kalou cant break into starting 11. A year back, I thought its time for Kalou to step up, but then, Malouda picked up his form.

But then, older player will have issues once we played midweek games. This would be the time for us to rotate the player, so I do hope that our young guns can get some minutes on the field.

I have high hope for Borini and Kakuta to break into starting 11, at least in 3 years time.

We just registered 22 actually, since those below 21 is not considered in the 25 man team, and to accomodate the 8 HG, 2 of our youngsters has to be counted in. So January, we can still buy 3 more players, if we have to.

Sturridge is different. He is more like Anelka type. Di Santo should be develop into Drogba, but then.. well..

Another promising youngster that I am afraid of is Josh. Yes, technically he is good. But look at his physical. You can play like that in EPL. During Euro U19, you can see he always eager to hold the ball, but not in pre season. Everytime he touch the ball, opponents already closing in. Confident is what he need to develop and of course eat some rendang and ketupat.

If I remember correctly, Ashley Cole started to get starting 11 place in 2001. That time, Arsenal got Nigel Winterburn and Sylvinho.. He was 21 back then, and of course, he took the chance he got very well, after Sylvinho injury.

And now, we got 2 decent young left back, Aanholt and Bertand. Given that Cole can play another season at top level, and given some minutes or so for Aanholt and Bertand, I dont see any problem letting Yuri go, but of course, not for soo cheap.

Based on the full article, it does not really stated that Yuri wants to leave. It just some hint inside, and well, the media just put that on the headline, although I believe the main point in Yuri's comment is that he is optimist that he would get a chance to prove himself. That's the main point, and well, the media played around his word, by saying he wants to leave.

Attacking wise, he's good, but defending wise, I am a bit worried. He's hard in tackling, but not really good in marking and tracking back. Remember his back pass lead to goal in pre-season ?

Yes, in fact every members also should be given a break.. Our team is on average is quite not that young..

Anyway, I believe CA has a way to sort that one out, the same as when he guided Milan to triumph with not young player.. I believe our squad is younger than what he got that time.

PTCL is like Telekom back in malaysia. Am at a 3rd world country now. that's the best cable/satelite co provider here. Everything is ok except for power failure here. Last time when essien was about to score. blackout!! darn. can't enjoy the game that much except if i can find a battery for this tv

so far i am proud of chelsea performance and i like wearing chelsea's blue and walk all over the town

Where are you? Ivory Coast?

good performance by chelsea against west ham on saturday night. essien was superb...
*
Yes, he was.. After 4 games, this is the best game he had. Hopefully, he can keep this form, and no more injuries.

But at the moment, the most consistent performer out of our midfield players is definitely Mikel notworthy.gif

Yes, but still he got those clumsy mistakes, once in a while.. Fortunately so far, he didnt make costly mistakes.

As for young subs, both got what it takes to come in and change the game. It would depends on the situation. Studge would be good if we are controlling the game, while Gael would be good if we are playing counter attacking fast pace football. I would love to see both of them playing together.. Kakuta place a well weighed through pass, and boommm studge scores.

It might be a chance for Aanholt as well. Who knows smile.gif

I still think it would be Ramires, since we are playing away and we need to get hold and be a bit caution. So, we need all the engines that we can get. Benny might come in, 20-30 minutes to time, to change the game style.

It would be
---------------------------------Cech--------------------------------
--Iva---------Terry--------------------------Alex----------Yuri----
-------------------------------Mikelele------------------------------
-------Essien---------------------------------Ramires--------------
---Anelka-------------------Drogba------------------Malouda-----

Essien and Ramires will exchange role, attack and defends, while our 3 mata serangkai in front, do their business as usual.

flomo will get the party started!

and once the party starts, nico and solo usually gets involved.

i would prefer if the youngsters get more minutes once we're two up. hell, just throw kakuta in from the start. i dont think we should hold them back anymore. alot of top teams are throwing in their youngsters because they believe in them. we should with ours too. kakuta is one of the best young players in france, he can start.

Added on September 14, 2010, 2:43 pmuh. is drogba banned for the coming two champions league games?
*
Sorry, drogba will not be playing.. He is suspended for 1 game. So, most probably Kalou, Flomo and Drogba

QUOTE(Kerplunk @ Sep 14 2010, 05:22 PM)
suddenly the kakuta option seems much more viable now aye?  icon_idea.gif
but a front three of malouda, nico, and studge sounds yummy as well! the amount of creativity and speed in there is enough to trouble any team if they click.
*
Of course we can.. Kakuta in place of Drogba.. How about that? So we play diamond with Kakuta as the tip of it. Sweetttt
