dont believe goal.com. its good to read for fun but most of the news are bullshit.

but anyways, if ashley really dont like it in england already, which i doubt, he can leave. yuri does have what it takes when he came in for ashley for a while last season. but of course i hope that ashley stays, he is still the best left back in the world for me.

yes. i do agree that Roman's spending has an impact on our success. but i strongly disagree with the phrase buying trophies. i havent been a football fan for a long time so i dont know the history of most clubs yet but i believe that trophies cant be bought. if trophies could be bought, we'd be winning the prem and champions league every season since Roman bought the club? Real spent loads of cash and they still ended up second, City spent loads and isnt even in the champions league. in this competitive era, it is next to impossible to actually grow your own homegrown players, buy cheap players and turn them into super stars and win major silverware. by the time players become good, one foot is already in the big clubs, how can a smaller club be successful? its indeed very rare especially during this era of football.

there. the conclusion is, we didnt buy the trophies. we won them with players that loves the club, an owner that loves the club.

now that we've lost bally and joey who are our main right midfielders, do you think benny will acquire the right midfield spot or will essien play alongside mikel and lampard.

yeah. mikel isnt very good if we're looking for a more offensive approach. i'd put essien in the holding midfield role that has the license to attack and benny on the right. again. assuming that everyone is fit.

i do think that benny will easily fit in the squad and is an instant replacement for bally and joey but it definitely isnt for the long term.

he has the skills and experience. i havent seen him in his off days but his on form days can be quite terrifying. any liverpool fans care to share one of his off form days with us?

well if king carlo wants long term success, he still has to breed the kids, if im not mistaken. he brought success to milan when all the seniors were still playing but when some of them retired, milan werent in very good shape.

the problem with us acquiring young strikers is the GODZILLA HUGE ASS boots that they have to fill in. there are not many strikers out there that can fill drogba's boots, whats more, young strikers.

haih. im still not over the sale of stoch.

but i guess Chelsea rated him to be not good enough for the first squad. i dont understand though. di santo is back at the training ground and stoch is somewhere else!

why release kenny strickland! i thought he was good.

Kaka for Ashley Cole+cash?

Kaka for Frank Lampard?

hmm...

i hate chelsea but if they can bring Kaka to spice BPL a bit i say go!
*
i'd rather keep ashley and lampard than get kaka. he isnt at his prime anymore and gets injured every now and then.

who needs kaka when you have a midfielder scoring 26 goals and 19 assist.

yeap. josh would be the best lad to replace lampsy. the current crop of first team players are setting a very high standard for the youngsters. i just hope they are up to it.

looks like benny hasnt got a number yet looking at his training kit at cobham.

quite a number of first teamers are already in the training ground raring to go for next season it seems!

MyChelsea should be moving to e-Curve (or is it still Cineleisure).  Modesto's new branch will be opening there soon.

I dont think we should expect players to be saints despite the high pays that they are getting.

They are human beings too and if that is their choice of fun, so be it. We cant expect them to be like robots we play for to play on the pitch every weekend and stay at home after training everyday. Sounds more like slavery to me.

However, if Ashley doesnt maintain or improve his performance on the pitch, he knows that he'll get the bench and Yuri will be ahead of him.

Err why would I be 'butthurt' when we have enjoyed as much success if not more? Have I dream someone other than the yanks bought our club? Sure if it means we won't be in so much debt. But what has that got to do with anything of the stuff related above? Talking about our misfortune blabla, and bringing up the glory hunter subject.. Looks like someone else got butthurt-ed huh?

So you agree that you enjoyed so much success because of Roman's money, which have been the point from the start?
Thank you.
*
there is no doubt we're enjoying Roman's financial backing but we're sick and tired of people labeling Chelsea/Roman buying trophies.

i just think its friggin stupid for those so called seasoned fans to insult new fans like that. not all new fans only support the club when they are winning. its as though to say they are the only true genuine fans that love the club because they were fans since a long time ago. how is a club going to build fanbase if these kinda statements are given all the time. this is definitely butthurt.

besides, what pyro quoted is quite true. everyone starts as GH, although unless you're born in that particular town, usually you'd support the team there. the other day i went to the mychelsea clubhouse and there was a fan from UK born somewhere in newcastle, he said in the old days, there are only newcastle fans there, now, they;ve loosen up already. bloody hell which new supporter will bother to support westham and stick to them.
