thats right. to best honest, joey's performance isnt good enough for us anymore. he isnt the impact player he used to be and its best for him to leave too. he gets to play regular football while he is still 28 and maybe create legend status at liverpool. if he stayed, he might be playing only a handful of games and he isnt exactly at the right side of 20s.

what is going on with the huge amount of players getting injured. i cant believe yuri and benny got injured when they havent even started any games yet. they have to toughen up. this coming season is gonna be a hell of a ride.

COMMON BOYS! WE'RE DEFENDING THE TITLE!

QUOTE(aw13 @ Jul 20 2010, 04:35 PM)
Most probably due to his agent publicly trying to get a better deal for DD from Chelsea (new contract, etc etc).  Doesn't surprise me, good players will always be subject to transfer speculation, DD should take it as a compliment.

Professionally, I don't think he will leave though, for exact same reasons JT decided to stay.
*
another new contract? Chelsea gave out a bunch of whole new contracts last season and DD was one of them.

i too dont think DD will leave for city. why would he. city doesnt even have champions league football that DD wants to win.

@madfag

Everytime a player renegotiates a new contract with higher value and/or better terms, the agent is entitled to a cut of it.  Thus you can understand why agents sometimes 'leak' too much info out to the media.
*
oh yeah, you're right. i totally forgot about the cut that these agents are going to get.

Alex thigh injury

kaka for cole? i'd rather not. we should get a good midfield player to play across midfield but exchanging kaka for cole is insane. yuri isnt the bionic superman type of player and what if we lose yuri to injury? annholt is much too young to play that many premier league games. malouda/ferreira on left back? alright, maybe for one or two matches tops.

we dont need kaka. he is injury prone and isnt in his prime. i dont see the point. we have very good midfielders in lampard, mikel, essien, malouda, josh, connor.

on another note. its glad to know the annoying vuvuzelas are banned at home.

man city cant buy everybody

and not every player would want to go to city. they know that first eleven spots are limited and everybody is looking for time on the pitch instead of just salary.

i told you we'll miss cech. turnbull was terrible. thats a really stupid mistake being a third choice keeper in our club. hilario was much better, i liked the long ball he threw for sturridge, if only sturridge was like drogba, we might have got a goal. regardless, danny's shot was pretty awesome, i like these kinda players. i think bruma was okay, he has the potential and room for improvement. ann holt is also a very promising player. matic is good, he has the vision, but i dont see the skills. his through balls are way too heavy for the strikers to pounce. di santo wasnt bad, but when he is man marked, he cannot really do nuts. josh is still too young for first team action, he doesnt have the experience. lalkovic runs like theres no tomorrow, i like his determination but i dont think thats very wise. is bertrand our right back? he was okay but no where near breaking into the first team.

i am surprised we played the diamond last night. the kids were clueless. they did not know how to use that system imho.

well, im gonna be a little tough with the kids. if we're not producing, we're not moving forward. our current first eleven isnt going to last very long and i prefer for the kids to maintain our success in the prem and europe.

that is when we can say that our club did not buy success, we made them. i believe in the young kids. they'll have to work harder, like what terry did when he was a youth.

Added on July 24, 2010, 8:02 pmon another news. riccy is looking for a real madrid move, i'd say we let him go quick so the likes of alex and ivanovic can play along terry.

Carvalho leave, I take Kompany pair with Terry. Then Ireland and Robinho or De Jong. biggrin.gif

you must be crazy. Kompany and Terry? I'd rather take Richards and put Iva with Terry!

De Jong is not bad to be honest.

yes, Deco and Riccy to leave.

Added on July 26, 2010, 9:13 amoh i almost forgot. we cant take any city players because we all hate them and they all hate us.

they're in TEAM BRIDGE remember.

Latest news..

Come-and-get-me plea by Real Madrid midfielder

Do we really need him? hmm.gif Use Carvalho to exchange? Where to fit him?

to be honest, we have no need for him, but if he does arrive, it would definitely be a bonus.

i like the switch deal you proposed laugh.gif

the injury to our key players especially drogba and cech will definitely hold us back from a flying start but im sure our reserves can hold on until our big guns are back.

i still think that we are going to reinforce though. we've been doing business in the dark lately and suddenly, poof! we get a player under everybody's noses.

i wouldnt be too worried if i were you, Chelsea FC, the players, the coach and the owner is aiming to stay champions in the coming season. we will at least get another first team player, even if its the overrated ramires.

the only thing im worried about is our goal keeping department. not solid enough. might cost us. hopefully they will step up and hang on until big pete returns.

i also believe that ancelotti will bring up the youngsters, we'll see the likes of ann holt, kakuta, borini, di santo, sturridge more this season.

like i've mentioned, i'd prefer this way instead of getting hitmen so united and pool fans can get off our backs about buying titles and all that crap.

how can pre season be frustrating when our main players isnt playing. if cech, terry, ashley, lampard, malouda, drogba and anelka played in pre season games, maybe our pre season goal tally might be around 15 by now? laugh.gif

looks like the big boys are back. most prolly riccy will partner terry since he is fit and carlo is definitely favouring the veterans. besides, i dont think bosingwa is fully fit yet, so iva will most prolly take the right back position. midfield starters should either be lampard - essien - benny or lampard - mikel - essien. malouda will be on the left while anelka takes the center forward role and on the right will be kalou.

the best option in the keeper department is hilario. hopefully he can repeat his form in the liverpool game last season.
