2nd half not serious, getting too complacent.

Good game for the team. Our next 3 BPL matches will determine the true characters of our team. We must admit our early fixtures is a bit easy and the team should not be too complacent with the situation.

Man of the match for me is Essien hehe He totally dominate the field.

3 pts; kalou's first 90 mins of the season...i would say he should be super-sub...chances not utilized well by him.
1st half was superb...i thought it might end up another 4 goals...but disappointing 2nd half....thats give blackpool to attack...anyway...chelsea's defense still fragile......4 pts clear....next weekend is the BIG match...we MUST beat city...remember last year were beaten home & away...we MUST revenge this term....drogba should improved his shooting ability...although today he was fantastic in assisting mode....no more 2nd half display against city.....before tht we got to play Newcastle in carling cup....so focus on tht 1st...ciao!

After the break with our shaky defending..we might find ourselft 4-4..not so good in the defend department...also really wasted on the attack department...only midfielder is the best out there tonight...

Cant blame them for complacency, 4 - 0 at 1st half against bpool somemore, game is done and dusted. Chelsea dial down a few notch.
Great to see bruma getting his minutes against an attacking side.

that lineup looks alright against new castle but in the MC game. i would prefer to see JT back in left CB. he initiates attacks better and can talk to the ref if things isnt going our way. from what i saw, the ref last night had most of the decisions against us. ivanovic doesnt look very comfortable with his left foot although he did try some decent balls into the front.

kalou kalou kalou. if you're a striker and you cannot finish a 1v1 situation, you're just not good enough. and that i say to all strikers including drogba and malouda. but i single out kalou because his inconsistent form really worries me because he will have big shoes to fill in soon.

ramires also did not impress me much. he was more of a normal player and i see him overly defensive most of the time. we already have mikel at the bottom, ramires should be providing the forwards some options. we dont need two defensive midfielders. he needs to up his game and quick. we have more games coming up.

totally agree wih this statement. our formation during attacking period got a hole in the center of it because ramires is dropping too deep. essien and mikel already on the defensive duty so ramires should step up into the hole. maybe he still getting use to the team's formation. the introduction of benayoun improves the situation but after 4 nil up, carlo should introduce kakuta or sturridge instead of him..
