great start to the campaign!....drogba as usual....7th wonder almost happen...i'm sure it will in latter stages...anyway i just dont give a damn on chelsea's pre-season results after todays game....but still most the players lacked 100% fit, eventually game by game into the season it will come.....defence needs improvement....MOTM: Drogba, eventhough not 100% fit...he showed his true caliber...imagine if he is 100%? he will run riot...we are top of the table in MATCHED 1 & hopefully it continues till MATCH 38....
3 pts is what matter in the end of the day.... players that need improvement based on v wba gamed: paolo, ivanovic, kalou, youssi. peaceful sunday sleep... This post has been edited by krk24: Aug 15 2010, 03:08 AM |

well done chelsea. what a good start for the new campaign. the tactic was spot on. the boys seems fit and fresh, the passes have been good, the movement and positioning were near perfect. drogba with a hat-trick, maybe golden boot award again this season? we'll see. by the way, malouda and lampard also were great. good job...!!!

good game, but still got alot to do at defence... 1st half was consider lucky / bad defence by WBA...
but the 2nd half back to business as usual... this is how the team start the season, start and end at the top of the table... |

On the other hand, Joe Hart does yesterday. This post has been edited by yo87: Aug 15 2010, 11:08 AM |

awesome. just awesome. we're off to a flying start. drogba was on fire for goodness sake. almost all of the players played well. alex, terry and cech were pretty solid at the back, lampard has some really creative play, mikel was enforcing the midfield really well, essien was cutting through midfield like butter. malouda was clinical infront of goal and drogba just scored like no one's business. i think anelka and ferreira did no do very well. but of course hats off to anelka for that last goal assist, it was the perfect lob for malouda to pounce on. what i saw was also that the boys were REALLY FIT. they all ran really fast chasing down balls, especially mikel, running half a field just to back terry up.
it was a great game and a warning to the rest of the teams that we are back. shebby as usual wrote us off, before the game there was a show and he didnt even name us in the top 5. i hate shebby. last night's game is definitely a confidence booster and momentum for the boys. |

QUOTE(Ichighost @ Aug 15 2010, 12:55 PM) Shebby prediction never right...and he always talk big and what else..his comments are suck..i wonder why he still in the show.. Added on August 15, 2010, 2:01 pm DIDI PASSES JIMMY Posted on: Sat 14 Aug 2010 With his hat-trick against West Brom, the fourth three-goal haul of his Chelsea career, Didier Drogba became the sixth highest scorer in Chelsea history. He did so by overtaking the 132 goals scored by the legendary Jimmy Greaves. Drogba now has 134 to his name from 261 games. Greaves played 169 times for Chelsea. Speaking after the game, Carlo Ancelotti acknowledged his centre-forward who has back-to-back league hat-tricks. 'Didier did a fantastic job, not just because he scored but also because he worked very hard for the team. I don't know if he is the best [striker in the world] but he scored a lot of goals last season and he started very well this season and I think he can do the same again. 'He is a fantastic striker and we are lucky to have this player.' Drogba himself was unaware at the time he had passed a milestone. 'I didn't know but it is really nice,' he said when informed. 'I've said I want to make history in the club and by being among these big players I have done it but I don't want to stop here. I want my name as high as I can.' Top all-time scorers Bobby Tambling 202, Kerry Dixon 193, Frank Lampard 158, Roy Bentley 150, Peter Osgood 150, Didier Drogba 134, Jimmy Greaves 132, George Mills 125, George Hilsdon 108. With his goal in Saturday's game, Frank Lampard beat Peter Osgood's total of 105 league goals for the club. Ossie's 105 came in 289 games and Frank's 106 has taken 321 matches. i hope didi passes King Osgood this season This post has been edited by madfag: Aug 15 2010, 02:01 PM |
