Don't be too nervous when updating/upgrading it.. Just read the forum over, then people will guide you through.

For now, you just need to install the Froyo version 1.1.1 1st. then you can instal the version 1.2..

Can anyone here recommend a compatible car charger for Dell Streak?

Easiest is get an Iphone usb car charger .....U need it 2 be 1000mAh to charge your Streak ..... if its around 500 like most car charger , it wouldnt work ....Iphone's charger is by far the easiest to get for 1000mAH . However , make sure u ask b4 u buy coz some do come with only 500mAH

Or you can use ZAGG Sparq 2.0 with 6000mAh back-up

It's not officially launched in Malaysia yet, but Dell Malaysia is able to provide warranty if you bought it overseas. You can get it from the sellers here.

Based on previous conversation with Msia Dell CS, it will be available locally but no firm date set yet. Either end of this month or next. Probably waiting for official v2.2 to be available before selling it here, which is a nice thing to wait for.
