Gonna wait for a while. And yes, the official Dell is very sluggish and not registering touch properly.

Is there a better keyboard app? The Swype sucks! And the Android keyboard is slow. There should be something better than iPhone's keyboard.

Even the staff at Maxis was impressed with my Dell Streak. Smaller than expected, he commented. Maybe the SGT is too big and turning people off.

Have u tried selecting it via Input Method?
Just go to any text box and hold for few sec and select Input Method. |

I'm on stock Froyo 2.2 and rooted but phone always hang or reboot every 3-4 days doing nothing. If I reboot the phone manually on Mon, it will be stable until Sunday.
