No issue with both thethering. I used wifi thether a few times with ipad. Only downside the battery usage I estimate increases about 20%
Your Dell cannot detect your notebook /or whatever you are using ??

Can detect, in fact connected but no Internet. But on dell I can see it is connected to 3G/H. Some how the pc say (Win7) no Internet connection but connected to dell. When I switch to usb tethering, its OK. Actually before this there is no issues, I could use wifi tethering.

That is strange. I don't have any windows notebook so I cannot test. But it thethers well too with my MacBook Air , just tested it. No need to do any special settings on both streak and MacBook.

I have been using smartphones ( WM 5 till WM 6.5 ), Palm, iPhone series ( ip2,3, 3gs, 4), Androids ( 1.6 till 2.2 ) - I have concluded forget about software support from official manufacturers be it Apple, HTC, HP, Dell, Samsung etc . On so many occasions I have personally call, visit their official service centers, email these manufacturers I have found even with my mediocre knowledge most of the time I think i know better then their so call technical . The really well knowlegeable guys do not face their customers - they work in the backrooms. The guys you talk to or faced are mere puppets reiterating what they have been given in their manuals. You will only get standard answers on from their recorded/paper SOP answers

You will have better software support in all the various forums found all over the web

Official supports is good only if you have hardware issues

Hey guys,

is it normal for the official ROM to auto restart sometimes and can't boot up?

It happened to me twice. One was the night I got it, and another time was just awhile ago.

The only way to boot it up is removing the battery, and then it'll boot up within seconds like normal

Make sure your battery cover securely fully slidein. If happen again usually is than defect on battery contact. Several users report such at dellmini forum and have their units replaced

i see but mine freezes before the auto-restart. Freezes > auto restart > wont bootup > havebto take out battery. Then its fine after that.
