Is it true that whoever own dell streak now with warranty can claim the the warranty locally once it launched in malaysia later? Anybody could confirm this? I'm ready to joint the dell treak owner soon

I heard few people got problem with slider stuck to open the streak. I was one of them. Now no more (3 to 4 days now) affer doing screen calibrate. So far so good.

I just realised gps fixed is very2 very2 slooow or almost impossibe. Is it just my streak with froyo 1.4.6 or everybody got the same problem? Any solution found or need to sent for warranty. Please I need help

Actually I just got my streak 2wks ago and come with 1.4.6 already installed. So cannot compare with other version. I just landed in vienna for a meeting and I tried to look for qiblat direction but gps failed to get fixed even when its already detected about 8 satellite. So I tookout htc hd winmobile, and got satellite fixed in seconds. So I wonder what kind of gps chip used in this streak, that make it so not efficient at gps fixed. After reading your comment I doanloaded gps status & toolbox and now it get fixed at a reasonable faster.

Yes when I get back to msia on 19th december. I'm now in vienna. I still use my htc hd for my gps in here.

Anybody know how to use market enabler? .Can I use it to buy paid application? .I am looking for higher quality apps.

I just flashed my dell with 1.5.1 a few hours ago, so far look ok and GPS get fixed much faster.

Hi,
Anybody here using locale sofeware?. I think this software use a lot of battery juice just to keep track where you are based on gps location to set the profile.

One more thing, what is the easiest way to update the baseband and is there a particular baseband that is more suitable to malaysia enviroment or telco

Hi everybody,
My dell autorotate suddenly stop working. Any idea how to solve it. I'm on froyo 1.5.1 when it's happened. I thought when upgrade to 1.5.2 will solved the problem. It's doesn't solved the problem. Now I have no idea what to do next.

I use paid Launcher Pro. I solved the problem by installing the autorotate widget on 1.5.2. Than later I reinstall 1.5.1 and remove the autorotate widget. Now the autorotate work as before. So the problem solved for the time being, hope will not happend again.

Move to 1.5.2 again for a few hours than move back to 1.5.1 because of forced close a few times when call received.

Now flash baseband from froyo 1.5.2 xda 1st page than flash 1.5.2 again. Very straight forward. But now can not get gps fixed. I use GSP Status software -- i can see the software detect and fixed (green in color) the satellite about 10 but no coordinate given, meaning there is no gps fixed yet. What is happeng here. For normal gps to get fixed only required at least 4 satellite. Any body here could help or suggest anything? I also can not revert to the old baseband because i do not backup the original baseband and don't know where to get it.

Original baseband : GAUSB1A130900-US
New baseband : GAUSB1A131800-US

I changed the baseband just to find a better baseband - for gsp fixed and radio reception. Some how after a few reboot and keep flashing 1.5.1 and 1.5.2, the gps start be able to get fixed. I thought I want to reset to factory default after this. So now look like my dell is OK but still behind my HTC HD in term of speed to get gps fixed.

So for now I will just stay with new baseband and 1.5.2. Thanks for the pointer.

People complaining can not hear my voice when I can hear their voice perfectly. Any body got the same problem ? How do you solved it. Or any particular ROM and radio to install? To whom who do not have this problem, what is your rom and baseband.

You can solved most problems by factory reset the streak. Especially if you flash new rom. Reinstall the applications quickly using titanium backup after that but still requires a lot of time to reinstall for almost 200 applications. At least that is the way I do it. Is there any other ways to do it faster ?.

Benny,
Now I run 1.5.1 like you do. A got problem using wifi tethering but usb tethering is ok.Any suggestions benny? or anybody here?. One more things, I feel like testing froyo 318 official, where can I download it or is there newer than this?
