yah, cause the definite fun part is the deck building.

if they are considering about the imba, they should just scraped the booster, but allowing us to utilized all cards. So wont be that imba, cause is all up to the players.

Maybe can put it in a game mode, allowing custom deck. So newbie wont be overpowered. and can choose to play with players around same level.

Yeap cry.gif

Duels of the Planeswalkers target demographic is not hardcore card gamers, but newbies have little or no experiance on the actual card game.

For $10 i doubt they'll implement more complex card mechanics or deck cutomization. Duels of the Planeswalker is not the replacement for MTGO.

but I checked Xbox Market...they got sell more decks for USD1 each. Didn't check details of the decks but if we have similar things on the PC version, its more choices for us biggrin.gif

yup, if you play MTGO...you're better off with the real cards. MTGO is just the worst option.

Just play only la.
For $10, that's pretty cheap than buying a real Starter Pack.

Thou it's all about our unique decks VS others unique decks.
It still takes you a toll to fight the same deck as well.

you guys keep saying its $10...should actually refer to RM. Coz I know someone who spent "very little" buying discounted games on Steam for the past 6 months only to find out he's been spending more than I did on my PS3 games last year laugh.gif

Nah, i disagree. MTGO has a few pros compared to the real thing.

All thru high school i played with real cards, which is fine and all, because i enjoyed playing with my friends. Now that everyone's moved on to all over the world, MTGO just makes it a lot easier to play.

When you're working, and you don't have that much spare time, MTGO is the easier choice.

Log on, find another player (always someone), and just play. You still get the joy of deckbuilding and facing off against human opponents. Cards are cheaper than their real counterparts too.

I agree that nothing beats the feel of real cards in your hands. But when you just dont have the time or people to play with, and you still need your fix, MTGO works just fine. (Also, my cards are always in "Mint" condition =D )

I could go on with the pros and cons for both, but my point being, there is no worst option.
