It's a 3 hit attack with 999,999 dmg, though I'm not sure how he got 3 hit..normally I highwind at 40% right after snow cast daze on the tortoise (notice the tortoise is trashing around), that'll get my highwind to reach 2m dmg. Daze doubles the damage dealt

Wanna ask something about 3rd tier weapon.Every character can have 3rd tier weapon or only 1 character? How about weapon? All weapon can do 3rd tier or only 1 3rd tier weapon per character?

want different between adamantortoise n adamantoise they look same ,,,, i encouter adamantoise last time and im pawned

adamantortoise is the mission 63 boss, other is normal tortoise

Added on June 22, 2010, 4:10 pmfor treasure hunt trophy (if u are pursuing this), only each character need tier 3 weapon & the rest of the weapons need to upgrade all to tier2 (so u will have all the weapon in tier1 & tier2 for a moment & meet the trophy requirement)

In fact all weapon can be upgrade to tier 3 weapon, if u have the time to get all the trapz....good luck

Added on June 22, 2010, 4:17 pmso far my trick to get 999,999 damage is having vanielle to cast death (fang/light do the com,com), then quickly change to com,com,com. then repeat again. this way i can get quite number of huge damage especially fighting long gui & adamantortoise. daze only apply once, when u hit the monster, the daze will gone.

I doubt Daze is the trick, Daze will be gone once the target being hit by one of your member, and computer always do something, unless they wait for the ATB full, and Highwind had a little delay (your member will attack the target before your Highwind unless they are not in attacking mode) before hit on the target, so I doubt Daze is the trick to kill the Adamantoise even it had 50% HP.

Argh... nevermind, already got my platinum trophy, perhaps is the time for me to test if I really want to figure out or maybe anyone has better idea how it can be done.

yeah i also having the same doubt with highwind damage (2mils damage, ) we both gotten platinum already...anyone try army of one (light), what is the damage? 99,999 x5 = 0.5mil damage? or more?)

Just yesterday my bontot itchy go fight adamantoise many time to get 1 more trapz, just to get malboro wand upgrade to nirvana & fight again with long gui hoping can ease the death casting. but shit happens, try 8X till i give up never able to cast death successfully killed it, then it stand up again!

i still just like using bahamut to cripple the leg then rav till stagger & then cerberus all the way. faster & no luck needed. SO guys, dont put ur hope on that malboro wand! just get to real fighting damage is more secure way.

Lol it's my own side mission to try to lower kill time for adamantoise as much as possible . I haven't even done mission 64 yet. My record right now is at 1:19

Daze is the trick alright..snow is casting 6x daze so fang's highwind is sure to double as the guy hit highwind button as soon as snow starts casting daze even if lightning's attack hit tortoise

how can u command snow to cast daze while u controlling fang? somemore 6x....
i wait long time also tak jadi la 1 daze casting....if u able to cast 6x daze maybe ur highwind will have lots of damage.

please try mission 64 & let us know if u able to 1x daze & 2mils damage with highwind. ..

Adamantoise > Adamantortoise with higher HP and Str.
Before mission 63, I think there are about 4 adaman in Archylte Steppe and 1 adaman in Eden Hall.
From the 4 in Archylte Steppe, 2 are Adamantoise and the other 2 are Adamantortoise. The 1 in Eden Hall is Adamantoise.
You can differentiate them by looking at the things on their back. Adamantoise have fancier things with more chain on his back.

There That was by no means perfect, lots of flaws with my attack synching but just to show you it's possible to hit 3x with daze on and almost 800k ea hit. With kaiser's glove and maxed kain's lance from dragoon it would've hit harder





I'll save mission 64 for later lol.

if all debuffs are on enemy, AI will cast daze only.

haiz want to get trapz my char to weak to face adam n the geng....hope n lightning hp 17000 ...... fang hp 21000........... after grind kaw2 at faultwarren.... it is enough to bring down adam even small percent

aku pon rase susah nak dapat ingot kalau guna death. sbb cpat sangat mati kot.hahaha.

aku suggest buat kat gran pulse. ade 4 adams. bleh buat 1 pusingan sambil lawan bende2 kecik. so senang charge TP.
