mission 7 boss drop tiara as big turtle drop trapz.all mission boss have their own drops so you can redo mission over n over for certain item you want but certain reward only for 1st time beat the boss and 2nd to infinity time you get the 2nd item for infinity time you try.

about pero and adamantites even in jpn version i bought all of that.

honorable way requires paradigm shifting like crazy.
easy way out, just use vanille's death and hope it lands lol.

Max out CP for ALL of the characters. I already did this yesterday night & achieved the Trophy "Master's Seal".

Right now, i need to farm for Platinum Ingots & upgrade few more weapons, than finishing off the sidequests.

Nope no difference.It's still 2x CP.

Just go to the northwest near the entrance to mahabra. Fight the behemoth and big wolf. If got growth egg can get 13200cp per round. Best part is you always start the fight with pre emptive strike

cactuar is not a mission, it proved that u have seen a cactuar and can complete mission against gigantuar

Easy. Just fight off the Cactuars (wait till it finishes its dance to become Prime Cactuar), get an easy 30k CP per battle that should last you under <2mins with a full buffed up party.

Strategy:

1. Your main PS should be SYN SYN SYN. Buff up till max.
2. When the Cactuar finish its dance & became Prime Cactuar (you should see the word Mature & that's the hint), switch PS & Relentless Assault till it dies.
3. Sure one of your characters get Fogged or Pained during the battle, but after a while, your party will sure win. Full buffed party should finish the battle under <2mins.

This will net you 30k per battle. I did this strategy when my party wasn't strong enough to fight the Adamantoise/tortoise monster. Try wander around the Gran Pulse, you should see those little buggers here & there.

When you spam Death, which weapon you equip Vanille with? Belladona Wand or Marlboro Wand?

If can, go fight Adamantoise to get CP, and at the same time you can get the platinum ingot and trapz. Save time if targeting for platinum.

Did you cast Daze and then use Highwind to finish it as what had been suggested in previous posts.

I think taking down his legs is still a more effective strategy because the body of that beast takes like 5mil+ damage to kill him!!! The legs are just about 300k HP each only.

Having a SEN in your party is good to buffer the damage from Adam's stomp. Can relieve at least 50% of the damage. I'm still trying to hunt for Power/Genji Glove, then come back and kill that beast!!!

Some articles on the Internet suggests that you have to get used to the timing of Adam's stomp, time your paradigm shift to heal your party when he's about to lift his leg so that you're in time to buffer the damage.

while farming for plat ingot/trapz...u can farm ur cp too.

Plat ingot is for gil,selling for 150k each.Trapz is for transforming to 3rd tier weapon.it can only be obtain from Adamantoise,Adamantortoise and Shaolong Gui.
Equipping Collectors Catalogs increase drop rate for Plat ingot,while Connoisseur Catalogs increase drop rate for Trapz

How much is your over all HP party akachester? Looks like your team is quite weak...

wht your crystarium lvl akachester?

In that case, try using Diversity PS: COM RAV MED, at least when things get bad, your healer can heal those who badly injured while fighting the Cactuar Prime.

Or maybe you need to fill in more of your other roles CP.

Not enough, max out 3 roles for each char, 1 main and 2 secondary. Your party still weak.

Get Fang to have SYN as well, she has the Protectora and Bravera ability which can buff your members all at once, Bravera can give your members 2.5x damage.
