Ok. Finished ranting. Speaking of the teaser, I can see all the members of the Nora team make their appearances, except Snow. But it's ok since I don't quite like him.

Nah, I don't think FFXIII's failure has much to do with the Xbox porting. It just lack the 'fantasy' feel, everything is so realistic and modernized. And even the story doesn't feel fantasy anymore. A plot about trying to overthrow the government?? Haven't they had a lesson from FFXII? Same goes to the setting and worlds. I need more villages, castles, hidden towns, mountains, forests, airship etc. Not those over-flourishing cities and robots flying everywhere.

Wow I can see sparks flying between Noel and Serah...Bye bye Snow..
Lightning is not dead. It's just that she disappeared and everyone thought she is dead, except maybe Serah. |

Lol, but I prefer Noel over Snow. Snow is too man for our tiny cute Serah.
It seems that new elements are added to the battle system. There are some action buttons to press to perform badass finishing moves. And I think we can recruit monsters/enemies as members of our party. And kudos again to the music. |

Lightning is not dead.
Speaking of Hope, he must appear in this game. He is the most-fleshed out character in FFXIII beside Lightning. |

Gosh, Serah at the end is so badass. I love her weapon, so beautiful yet cool at the same time. |

Lightning said in the world that she no long exists, the future is about to change. So maybe everyone's fate is changed somehow, including Serah's and Snow's. And the time flow isn't sure anymore as quoted from Lightning and she mentioned about the past, maybe Serah and the others return to the past, and Snow doesn't appear yet?
BTW, is the pendant Serah's wearing given by Snow? If so, then that means they are still connected but something might have happened to Snow. It's SE's usual tactic again. Releasing something that can have the fans speculating madly. |

QUOTE >FFXIII-2 will have multiple endings, a first for the series said Toriyama. Famitsu.com's interviewer was extremely shocked by this statement. >Toriyama said that Lightning is the story's backbone, and dead or alive she'll appear in the game and you'll take control of her. >Following much feedback from players, they made FFXIII-2 player driven. Players will actively explore and will trigger events with their actions. They're making the game so that there are many choices for players. >You'll be able to play the game multiple times. Famitsu asked if this means there will be a New Game + style feature, where you restart the game with your character fully buffed up from the previous playthrough. Toriyama responded that they hope to offer a different form of repeat play from this. ![]() Argghhh...I hate multiple endings. That means I have to play it more than once. |

RPGSite Interview
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « So they really reflect from the criticisms. Improvements were made and many traditions are back like towns, moogles, branching paths that allow you to explore, secret areas, more side missions. And they include also the "jump" action so we can access secret areas/chests. As for the linearity in XIII, I guess that was fixed too. Not sure how the multiple endings works, but it is very intriguing. Since it is the first time having this kind of multiple endings, I guess it's different from how it was in X-2. |

Digging the theme song now.
Btw, time paradox is just fun to see. I expect the storyline to be better than XIII's one. |
