The Walking Dead hype has died down I guess... I remember in previous year people talk about The Walking Dead days before each season starts |

I feel funny on lots of unnecessary action.
1. Why waste bullet shooting at the glass window? 2. Why not just shoot Negan while they all standing without protection for so long? 3. Jesus, another figure that suddenly being so human 4. Father (sorry forgot his name) another idiot trying to save a snake 5. While they have their cars cover with the metal and come with a hole... why they want to stand open wide shooting rather than hide n shoot with protection? So that few poor ppl can survive I feel it lost its touch. Now seems Fear the Walking Dead more interesting. Hopefully next episode will be better |

![]() All out war has had a devastating impact on every person involved. The communities themselves are fractured. Alexandria has been destroyed, the Hilltop finds themselves pinned, and the Kingdom is shattered — half of them dead, the other half controlled by the Saviors. At the very center — Rick, having been distracted by the conflict, has just returned home to learn that Carl, who heroically shepherded the Alexandrians to safety during Negan’s attack, has been bitten by a walker. Once his sole motivation in this otherwise stark existence, Rick is forced to deal with this reality. Carl has always been a beacon of hope, a symbol for the remaining thread of humanity — lessons that the survivors around him would be wise to take with them as this war surges onward. But Rick isn’t the only person who’s living in peril. Aaron and Enid are in a dire situation at Oceanside — unclear if they’re in friendly territory, or if they’ve just made new enemies. Father Gabriel will do his part in attempting to smuggle Dr. Carson safely back to the Hilltop and a pregnant Maggie is wrestling with the many moral gray areas that come with leadership during war. In a standoff with the Saviors, she must decide how to proceed with the dozens of POW lives she’s currently in control of, as well as new complications that come with being a leader. In addition to the war, Negan continues to deal with struggles within his ranks as workers, traitors, and others’ thirst for power cause conflict at the Sanctuary. Having gifted the Saviors a major victory, Eugene’s loyalty is repeatedly tested as new obstacles present themselves. As all-out-war consumes us, the line between good and evil continues to blur. People fighting for what they believe in. Everybody working together for something bigger — to feel safe and have a world worth living in. |

I just started watching The Walking Dead Season 8. Seriously, right now they are just milking money. Because the formula is always the same old same old. The plot never changes. And too many annoying people making the same mistakes over and over. And in each season near the end, there's always one main character that will die. Unlike GOT that kills of any characters George Martin so wishes! haha!
At this point, i am seriously wondering why i am still watching this. This post has been edited by miyakochan89: Feb 8 2018, 02:36 PM |

Rick has always think about his family first. Hence, the farm, the prison and Alexandria. No one is capable of being a good leader than him in this series. Negan is the worst. His dictator-styled leadership is sickening. Over the years Rick had his ups and downs. Some choices that he made was right and some not so good. When at season 6 and 7, I had mixed feeling about Rick but I think it was too early to judge Rick at that point. From my understanding there are around 8 more seasons to go. Now at season 8 episode 9 I feel sorry watching how devastated Rick is when he is about to lose his son..but I think the best is yet to come. I cannot wait

QUOTE(BlackCherry @ Mar 1 2018, 02:43 AM) They may have the material to go up to 16 seasons, but AMC is renewing the series season by season. so far they have only confirmed season 9 is going to happen, but there's still a lot of uncertainty, as Lauren Cohen's (Maggie) contract is still not yet renewed, and she already went ahead to sign on for another TV series. This post has been edited by kevin613: Mar 1 2018, 09:46 AM |

Just watched the finale...
Season 8 had some of the worst episodes of TWD... the only saving grace had to be the finale. And in many ways, it did manage to save the show. The twist ending with several lead characters that will undoubtedly propel Season 9's direction has gotten me excited... did not see that coming. Most of the episodes were at best 6/10 or 7/10 but the finale earned a 9/10 from me. Won't spoil anything but the theme of the night was forgiveness and the ending was quite poignant. My mercy prevails over my wrath. - Rick |
