yeap... until now, S2 is waaaay much better than S1

just started reading the comic too...

the series only follow the first few vol of the comic, but has more character development compared to the comic

boy... didn't expect Shane to be out of the picture so fast, he's such a badass in the series, but such a wimp in the comic

Rick is so much more hardened and stronger in the comic as well, and wimpier in the series

Just read until the prison part, which is very very gruesome, lots of dead and unexpected twist.... which I think won't be appearing in the series, too gruesome...

for those who have read all the comic, is the CDC in the comic as well?

anyway... Ep8 ending was real nice, good old saloon shootout western style: sheriff vs the strangers

with the arrival of the strangers, I'm sure the next episodes will be about the showdown between Rick's group and the new arrivals group.
won't be a surprise if they put Merle into the new group, forcing Daryl to choose side


seems like the series story is getting similar to the comic development, in character's behavior anyway
with Rick & Carl getting colder each day...

with Shane getting almost out of control...

hope they don't break the promise for "the prison"

anyhoo... TV series toned down a lot... waaay a lot
was expecting to see some skywalker's stunts like in the comic
but alas, those they pulled a skywalker stunts in the comic are either already dead (Dale) or not in the series...

I wonder why the audience like Lori so much... she's a biatch in Prison Break, they killed her and yet brought her back again due to popular demand. Here in TWD she's even more biatcher... why don't they kill her off already

I hope S3 will be The Prison arc, with the psycho mayor

S3: Michonne vs the governor this will be my most anticipate scene

i even pause the scene to look closely, confirmed no hand print after 1 min of looking at it on 720p version.

they need a tank warrior character like Tyreese

do you notice the characters are similar to typical RPG characters?

Glen = Thief
Michonne = Assassin/Ninja
Darly = Ranger
Shane = berserker
Andrea = Archer/sniper
Rick = generic warrior leader class
Dale = merchant
Lori = biatch

oh yeah,
Hersel = cleric/healer
t-bag = NPC (Non imPortant Character)
Lori = whore

current S2 farm arc is not in the comic, it's an original story line

S3 will be the prison arc

not sure if they gonna kill her
since she's the drama queen in the whole series, without her then there's not dramas and shits to clean up after her eh?

anyway... since in the comic

IMO, Danny Trejo will be the best candidate as the Governor

anyway... this is the best season ever, most sadist, most depressing and grittiest also

lots of unexpected death & twist

(thank god they get rid of Lori now compared to end of Prison arc as per comic )
