y must they wait till next year...arghh..
i thought they already started shooting..no?

I think they will start shooting in March.

they might or might not come across that..CDC wasnt in the comic..from what i read and the length of the storyline in the comics this series could easily go to 10+ seasons if they follow the same 7epi a season format
*
Next season is ordered for 13 episodes, according to Spoiler TV.

that CDC is the clue for next season... brows.gif
you see the doctor whisper? thats some protip there ...hehe....
I can already guess  rolleyes.gif

fyi, walking dead follows a new tv series format, with at least 2 season in mind.
big production studio, big promo(they promoted across the globe),small season to start.
so, if the ratings no good, next season will follow same format of small season to wrap things up.
this way, the show wont end abruptly like how shows like Flashforward was.
Quality isnt compromised (some shows only get higher production budget after 2nd season), the only drawback is viewers only need to wait longer...haha

they used the money to promote the series at the expense of number of episodes.
imo, this scheme is better than flying with big budget, then flop on one season.
*
Agree.
Hope they will have bigger budget per episode next season.
It was hitting cable TV rating peak during season finale, so finger crossed for better production value next season.

'The Walking Dead' Scoop: Expect a Gorier Season 2!

QUOTE
The sophomore season of AMC’s zombie horror-fest The Walking Dead aims to be even darker and, um, dead-er, when it returns to the cable network sometime in October.  It’s hard to imagine that a series full of zombified loved ones receiving bullets or pick axes to the head could get any more intense, but that’s what the producers and cast promised Friday at the Paley Center’s tribute to the show in Los Angeles.

October?! that's freaking long sad.gif
