QUOTE(victor_ho336 @ Jul 24 2010, 10:52 AM) if you want comfort and low noise on new tyre tread, get a 912.if you are into spirited driving style, ps3 is the best choice! good grip in dry and wet. equally good for touge. QUOTE(ThunderGod_Cid @ Jul 24 2010, 01:50 PM) What would you advice for real quiet one? Of course, equally as good grip in wet n dry. Sounds ah beng... but I'm looking for all 3 setup you won't get both in a single package.Prority - NOISE Followed by grip... of all the tyre i've had used, so far, the best bang for bucks was the ps3. gy f1 asymetric is another option but it lose out to the ps3 in tread wear. beside having a fine grip in dry and even better in wet, i found out the ps3 is more comfortable compare to gy f1 asymetric. avoid directional tread pattern coz' they are noisy in nature. |

QUOTE(b48753 @ Jul 26 2010, 10:40 AM) No need kepish on reverse..If he kepish while reverse then his parents will kepish also..haha is the shop located somewhere near the tyre shop in desa tasik? with a few rimus product....Nway no more selling the extractor..If u wanna custom back ur extractor I could show u a place at Sg. Besi..last time they who did my extractor and pipe welding..very good workmanship btw, nice ride there, steven speedworks quoted me around the same figure but i decided to change the whole engine instead. no replacement for displacement. after a month of tuning, the dual fuel rail is feeding the mivec top nicely. eh, do you happened to keep kingston's of sunway everco number? i lose it. thanks. |

QUOTE(mxsteven @ Jul 26 2010, 02:36 PM) Yea i thought about replacing engine too but think again bot is more fun! Buy engine from halfcut is depend on luck also then again, even though 4g18p is quite robust, being a sohc is a downside. good pick up but lack top end. that's why i decided to go for another engine.lucky i've got a 65,xxxkm mileage taken from a neo joint project with friends. btw, am not on td04. was using borg warner s256 instead for minimal turbo lag. QUOTE(swk_sam @ Jul 26 2010, 03:40 PM) you will need an acrylic box for that one |

most economical / effective upgrade for waja brake;
twinpot from evo 3(should be able to fit on waja 15" other than the jrd 7 spoke, original older 3vo rim was of 15" oz) and dual layer brake servo! |

QUOTE(nayte @ Aug 7 2010, 11:40 PM) ehh mine also like that! haha. mine will die halfway driving when i shift into neutral. waja special characteristic? lol strange. before change engine, my waja does not have such problem. i could shift from n to d anytime even during cold start.due to safety reason, foot off the brake pedal during cold start shifting might be the reason |

QUOTE(arefad @ Aug 12 2010, 01:04 PM) Hi guyz, i doubt you can get 'em below 500 bucks for full set. 4x apm peformax without the sports spring is already eating up 550 bucks.just wanna to ask all sifu'z here.. planning to change my absorber la dis time.. my current abs brand SAPURA not tahan la, not even 1 year last already feel like riding adj abs, very stiff n hav knocking sound in uneven road.. planing to change either APM Performax or SACHS super touring.. both also full sets below than rm500, consider ok 4 me.. juz need to know which is da best in term of handling, comfort n reliability.. thanks in advance guyzz.. so does the the sachs st. btw, am a big fan of apm performax. they never let me down. although ride was slightly stiffer than sachs st. |

QUOTE(squareballs @ Aug 13 2010, 12:31 AM) My car since day one using 10w-40 till now, clocked 60k km.. 10w-40 semi synth i guess?Advisable to change to fully? Just to give it a try.. 60k mileage is still less. should be no problem using fully synthetic. some ppl changed to fully synthetic after 100k mileage with no side effect at all. QUOTE(arefad @ Aug 13 2010, 09:49 AM) i tot SACHS is more stiffer than Performax... so im wrong.. sachs is softer. if you want to change to performax, make sure to change to same performax sports spring as well. cost should be under 850 bucks with labor.ya i know da Performax litle bit expensis than Sachs, but the price 4 me is ok if around dad figure.. becoz later hav 2 count also for installation and alignment price.. wouhhh, money money... for installtion i give 2 my fren to do, its cost maybe rm60 for all sets.. juz found out dad all 4 tyres also need to change maybe before or after raya, maybe have to do both abs n tyres so can save a bit for alignment.. no need 2 do twice. so, it is worth to go klang only 4 change all set of tyres? is there any other shop that have similar price than klang, me live in equine park, SK.. thankzz if the budget permitted, you should chnage all in one go. but there is no such thing as free alignment (even if they advertise so). even if you car's alignment is perfectly fine, they may tell you the alignment is gone. and try to sell you the 45 bucks bolt and nuts instead which cost less than 15 bucks in hardware shop. be careful. |

QUOTE(jolipoli81 @ Aug 14 2010, 01:31 AM) not sure which manufacturer the r3 originally comes from.i've try pairing the apm performax with other sports spring from gab and another brand. ride is fine but the performax abs gave way after 5 months. turn out it only works with either the stock spring(slightly bumpy ride) or best with peformax sports spring itself which lower the car about 30mm. |

QUOTE(ptit @ Aug 15 2010, 01:00 PM) after 4 years using waja campro 2006, yesterday is the 1st time my waja breakdown near HICOM...very lucky that there is nearby workshop yet need to push the car to the workshop... if am not mistaken, fuel filter is located inside the fuel pump compartment itself. fuel filter is cheap but labor cost(opening the fuel pump) cost quite a lot. so, it's not practical to replace the fuel filter during service interval.main problem is the fuel pump....2nd problem is fuel filter... question, do we need to change the fuel filter everytime we send the car for service? what is the recomendded shock absorber for family driving? best thing to avoid the problem; do not practice filling only when the empty fuel warning light blinking. you can stick with the oem absorber which is of apm(cheap and comfortable). else, sachs, pro-ride and gab is another option. |
