Astro only broadcast up to 720p/1080i only. Maybe have to wait 3-5 years later to get 1080p.

Why installation for byond PVR are so expensive? Normal byond just only around RM100.

Sometimes = 2 years later.

Try more reboot 2-3 times. If still got problem, call CS to replace your decoder.

Need to buy TV with DVB-T tuner. Not all HDTV right now have digital tuner.
Only the expensive one will have digital tuner

I think its normal because u can record during standby. Thats why it still active.

AXN HD & FX HD currently are free except for Zhi Zun HD (need to subscribe dynasty package).
Try put your decoder on standby mode at least 10-20 minute for update purpose.

For sure, Astro will not broadcast on 1080p right now. That resolution need bigger bandwidth.

1080i means interlace. Its different with 1080p (Full HD).
1080p is commonly use in Bluray.

1080i: 1,920x1,080 pixel resolution. High-definition picture that is displayed interlaced. Each odd line of the picture is displayed, followed by each even line, and the resulting image is not as smooth as a progressive feed. 1080i is therefore a more detailed picture suited to documentaries and wildlife footage, but less suitable for action-oriented material such as sports and movies.

1080p: 1,920x1,080 pixel resolution. High-definition picture that is displayed progressively. Each line is displayed on the screen simultaneously, therefore it is smoother than an interlaced picture. This is the ultimate high-definition standard -- the most detailed picture, displayed progressively.

With byond PVR, you can only record on decoder HDD. Cannot record to External HDD right now.

Astro CS are sucks. Last time when somebody call, they say red button for world cup 2010 cannot be turn off.
That proof they know nothing except you ask them that you want to subscribe a new package.

For byond u must press back button. Colour button just for SD/normal decoder

Yes, all WC 2010 game are broadcast on DD5.1.
