The other thing, there is a Korean KBS channel, Japan NHK channel, China CCTV channel but how come NO Thai channel which is our nearest neighbour ?

I went to Thailand recently and they have really some good and funny local TV shows , much better than Malaysian local shows.


Any future plan for a Thai channel with English subtitles ? Tom yum goong, choco, muay thai martial arts movie ROCKS !

Anyone from ASTRO can answer ?

I am not saying SD appear as HD. Our SD compression/lossy rate is very high for some channels.

How about New Emperor/Gold channel ? Shouldn't these have at least one too ?

You mean that HDMI output from astro decoder to TV is disabled ?

Does that mean I can only output to TV via AV cable ?

I also didn't subscribe to HD only recording, going to install in 10 days time.

That means in the future, it is possible just like the first version of byond ?

Fun package

We don't need CNN HD so early, what's so good about seeing the newscaster so clearly ?

I suggest we complain to MCMC regarding the RM10 charge to our account just for recording.

I think this is daylight robbery. We have the right to watch whenever we want and shouldn't be charged.

You mean add HD ? It is rm 20 and not rm 5. How do you calculate.

I just got my ASTRO HD Recorder installed today.

We can still use the HDMI cable even when we don't subscribe to HD !

I don't subscribe to variety now.

I don't think they will remove KBS world as it is quite popular.

Learning package has too many HD when compared to other packages.

My installer put a pin code for the installation menu for my PVR. But he didn't tell me the pin code number.

Is this normal ?

I cannot access the installation settings without the pin code.
